Our sons picked chinese for their birthday dinner. We wanted to go somewhere we could eat in person instead of ordering takeout. This place was perfect! We had the happy family, general tso shrimp, and sweet and sour chicken. The food was delicious but our favorite part was the service. The service was A++ they were very attentive and so kind. Then they suprised the boys with chinese donuts for dessert! We will definitely be back.

China star has been in McDonough for years. They have the best Chinese in the area. They deliver pretty fast out in McDonough. Their employees are great friendly and always make things right to please you not many Chinese restaurants deliver but we've not been happier than China star Asian garden by Kroger on Jonesboro Rd. Could not believe the treatment tonight. Was told to sit anyplace, someone would be right over. 15 min later & no acknowledgement, I went to get menus. After another 10 min a server came, ask about drinks. He brought the drinks and left. Another 8-10 min he returned, we ordered. Food came out pretty fast but we had to stop another server for drink refills. We also had to get our own to go box after asking for it and the check. My daughter finally got up to get the box and ask for check again. 8 minutes later, we went to register to pay without check. They were a little busy but this was a bit much. I saw 5 people running around like they did not know what was next. Have never experienced anything like this there. I suggest they work on organization. It was crazy. Seemed no one had stations, just doing whatever they saw. Not a good experience but food was good as usual! Oh, my daughter ordered a LG soup, spring roll & white rice. She only received the soup....25 min later they came with the rice...no spring rolls.

Ordered delivery and they forgot the rice for the order. Called back and they said after the driver delivers 3 other orders they can send rice. I asked could they make the order over because after waiting for 45 minutes food would be cold. They said they could not and asked could I come pick the rice up. If I was driving I could have but I could not. We do not have a microwave so am I supposed to eat the food cold? Will never order from here again. No real customer service or resolutions for errors on their end.
