In general we have loved staying here for the last few years when we come to town for the Import Alliance car show, but this year there were some issues we have never experienced before. I will preface this to say we are a large group and we do take up alot of space at the fire pit and have some late nights but to my knowledge no one has ever complained and we try to clean up the fire pit area when we are done, and always treat staff and the property with respect. That said, my issue was this: while going to my car from the fire pit area I stepped in what I thought was dog poop...but when I hit it with my phone light it was clearly....not from an animal. Several of us speculated that it was possibly human, and one of our group brought it to the attention of hotel staff on Friday night, who seemed unconcerned. Saturday night it was still there and appeared to have been tracked through by several more people throughout the day and was spread out in front of the gate to where it was nearly impossible to walk through without stepping in it. It was still there Sunday morning when we left.

In addition, around 2am Saturday night there were alarms going off on the 3rd floor, people shouting, and someone banging on all the doors to let them in. Before you ask why I didn't call the front desk, I will say I had very little confidence anything of consequence would be done after we brought literal human feces to their attention and nothing was done...also I am sure I wasn't the only one who was reticent to engage with whatever craziness was going on out there. Not the best stay, I hope it's better next year.

BUGS in the bed!! We dropped off our cloths and went to our Soccer game, returned to a dark room and turned on the lights to find bugs in the bed! I trapped it in a glass and took it to the front desk. Everything we googled showed us it was a bed bugs. They had no idea and took the bug, offered us another room, we did not have a choice, my daughter had another early soccer game. Went to our 2nd room, I had dead ants under my pillow and along the top of the mattress, the AC unit sounded broken and rattled all night long, we slept and left. As I was leaving the manager asked if I would prefer points, refund or a free stay, I stated since they were polite points or a stay would be fine. We had to freeze all of our items for a week, so for 1 week I was not able to use my chiropractic pillow, only to get an email saying “I'm so sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during your stay, and I truly understand how frustrating and concerning this situation must have been for you and your family. Please know that your experience is not reflective of the high standards we strive to maintain.” From a Jessica Reid. Just an apology that is it. I responded to her and said that was not enough, I lost sleep for a week, and still did not have my cloths yet. She NEVER responded. Truth is, management DOES NOT care. The staff was friendly at the hotel though. I will update with the photo when I find it, I still have them. Jessica, when do you plan on responding or taking action?

We stopped 1:00am traveling to Florida the first room 320 the bathroom was full of ants. Dead ant in my bed. They switched us to room 330. We had to go down and get the new room card. Room 330 wasn’t to bad, except when I got hot water from the coffee maker, I had to clean it first because it was dirty, when I ran hot water through it my cup was full of brown water. All they said is sorry!! We should have told them sooner. I feel like they didn’t try to make it right. They charge you for incidentals. I should have been charging them for inconvenience. I feel like they didn’t try to make anything right! I will never stay at this place again. This place is not up to Marriott standards. We stay with Marriott’s because they are always nice. Not this one.

No Way! I was treated unprofessionally, disrespected, and discounted. Ms. Kim at the front desk stated misinformation on 3 occasions and felt. It was okay to do it after it was pointed out that what she was communicating wasn't factual. Miss jessica, a regional manager, dismissed me on multiple occasions and never acknowledged me.In fact, she totally ignored me. No human being should be treated or discounted. In this way, these two individuals did not live up to the marriott promise, nor did a display of marriott culture.

Im a rewards member & this is the 1st time ive every been treating a certain way, the Lady that worked behind the bar was the nicest one there! And she it's the only one they're worked there as well.Only one worker for the restaurant in the bar. The front office staff treat you like you a peasant or like you get on the nerves because you're asking questions. The only reason I booked this particular hotel is because of the hot tub. I called first before I booked and they said the hot tub was working when I got there, after being told the hours I go get dressed to get in a hot tub and it's down... Went back to the front desk to ask why they said it was working, and a basically just blew me off. Mind you i'm at the hotel for two weeks, then they locked me out my room for incidentals, mind you i had a card on file & the room is paid in full already!!! Plus the put a charge on my room that I didn't even do as well...I stay at marriott ALL the time, I will never stay here again!

I thought this was a nice safe location and boy was I wrong. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR CAR BROKEN INTO. 39 cars broken into and I parked by the door under a camera just to be told it doesn’t work. They care nothing about their customers. So since you don’t care about us I will out you in a review. My car window was broken for them to get nothing. They targeted business vehicles and cars with tint. Any hotel in that area avoid!!!!!!

I thought that Yuri was very rude he made faces as I told him who I was as if it didn't matter on top of that he took my credit card and put it in the credit card machine that was facing me which I found strange and disrespectful. His name tag said Marriott Ambassador, I don't think he qualifies as that. He was very rude and destroyed my whole Marriott experience from that point forward.

I just would like to say, this is by far the best experience I have had in a marriott hotel. From the manager, the receptionist, the housekeepers and everyone.The staff was professional,respectful, kind while still making you feel like you are home. Exceptional service. This is the first amazing experience I had at a marriott and I would highly recommend Mcdoungh Marriott to everyone. My hope is that this review is taken seriously , as this should be recommended to ALL of the marriotts. Rob.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel! It’s perfect for a staycation and/or for a family or solo trip. It’s also perfect if you stay within the McDonough area but may not want to travel too far into the city for a nice hotel. The food is good, the ambience is peaceful, and the staff have excellent customer service! I will be coming back! : )

Food and drinks: The food was good! I had the French toasts twice for each morning I stayed. I also had the Margherita pizza.

I've stayed with this specific courtyard over 5 times while traveling for my company. This place is always clean, comfortable, and quiet. I would highly recommend staying here. The staff is always polite and professional. The only issue I have seen is the need for more staff. Sometimes the employees are multitasking between the bar,Cafe and the front desk. Beside this Courtyard in McDonough will always be my go to.
