Night time front desk employee unhelpful
Hotel and room were great, the downfall is the breakfast. There is no self-service breakfast, we arrive with a large crowd and it took a long time to get coffee and bagels for everybody since one lady has to serve you one at the time. It makes no sense for a hotel to follow this model. Also, they have thousands of shops and restaurants nearby but Jonesboro rd is a single lane, traffic is mad.
Decent room, clean but stuffy ac. No emphasis on customer service, checked out this morning and girl in the front desk seemed annoyed, as she did at check in. Breakfast stated 6:30am however no one was there and at 7am they had just arrived with their keys to open and start setting up. Needless to say, breakfast was a mess and took way too long. The pool is very tiny and indoors, which creates a horroble echo when you have kids. Walls and floors are thin, you can here your neighbors walking, kids running in the floor above and below you. Nice ice makers on each floor, always full, cute snack market but expensive. The hotel was clean and the location was convenient, but I don't think I would stay here again.
Clean, stylish, reasonably priced.
Happy Hour in the lobby.
Horrible place. They misled us on the pool / hot tub. We called ahead of time to make sure that both are working. Got there and both are freezing like ice. Locals!!! Just wanted to spontaneously do something for kids before their spring break ends.
Long story short. No Empathy whatsoever. Did not care!!
The rooms here are nice. Usually clean and decent condition. I find the staff very unfriendly and boarder line rude. No acknowledgment of loyalty membership- no thank you for staying. I stay ave 75+ nights at Marriott properties per year - it has been one of the least appreciating hotel’s I’ve stayed at.
I would give this zero stars if I was able. Me and my husband booked a room to take our kids so that way they could play in the hot tub and the pool, Being as we just live five minutes away from the hotel, that’s the main reason we went there. I called the front desk and was informed that everything was working so we booked the room. We get there on the very first night and the hot tub would not get hot so we informed the front desk. We were told that they talked to the manager and that the pool guy was coming tomorrow to fix it, For us to wait to just speak to a manager the next day. The next day comes And the front desk tells us that the pool person came and they’re not sure why the Hot tub is still not getting hot? So I asked about speaking to the manager, I was then informed that the manager would not be there until the next day. They told me that something would be able to be done to help us with this situation as we did not get to use the hot tub or the pool the whole time we were there and that is the only reason we came. The next morning I wake up and that is the day of us leaving, Go to the front to talk to a manager, and they tell me that the manager has already left. I feel like I was getting the go around the whole entire time. I left my name and number to speak with the manager still no phone call until I had to call back the next day. Finally spoke to the general manager, and they said that there was nothing that they could do for us being as my husband booked through booking.com. If I was informed of all of this to begin with, we would’ve never have paid for two nights. We literally just spent $400 at this place and did not get anything that we wanted. The general manager laughed On the phone like everything was a joke after she told me that she was not gonna do anything to help me. This place is complete trash. I would highly recommend going somewhere else……… 😡😡😡😡😡😡
Great service and newly remodeled , clean rooms
Very friendly staff
Very nice hotel after a long travel day from Wisconsin. The staff were very kind and helpful, one of the quickest check-ins I might have ever had at a hotel. Room was clean, with no weird smells. We had a king bed with sofa bed room. My daughter used the sofa bed so it did make the room feel a bit cramped but it was fine for the night. Bed was comfortable. Rooms were quiet. Although we didn’t get to take advantage of it, the hotel has a REALLY nice patio outside with a nice patio set, and a gas fire pit and chairs for chilling out by the fire. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
We recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta McDonough with the Nxt Era Panthers 7v7 team traveling from Boston, and I can honestly say the hospitality here was EVERYTHING.
From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like family. Traveling with a large group of athletes and families can be a lot, but the entire team handled us with professionalism, patience, and genuine care.
A very special thank you to Karen in the Bistro, who was absolutely phenomenal. She went above and beyond to make sure our families, especially our boys, were taken care of and happy. You can tell she truly cares.
Also, a huge shoutout to Lavinia, the night auditor, who was just as amazing, welcoming, attentive, and always helpful.
I’d also like to recognize Celeste, the Sales Coordinator, who was incredibly accommodating. She secured event space for us for two days so our football team could hold meetings with the coaches. This was extremely beneficial, especially since it was our first game of the season. That level of support made a big difference for our program.
The front desk staff as a whole were consistently kind, patient, and helpful throughout our stay. Jaliese was also wonderful.
The only small area for improvement would be clearer communication around breakfast packages. We initially thought a hot breakfast was included for our 15U and 18U teams, but the first morning only offered lighter options like fruit and oatmeal. However, Karen quickly stepped in and made sure the next day included better, more filling options, which we truly appreciated.
Overall, I would rate this stay just shy of excellent only because of that initial confusion, but the way the staff responded and made it right speaks volumes.
Our boys were happy, our families were comfortable, and we truly felt at home. We will absolutely be back next year!

Please put stars on the reviews page for the restaurant. I would give it 10 stars. The food there is amazing. Makes me want to just come for the food only. The food is very tasty and prices are very reasonable considering me staying at a hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel based off the food alone!
As a disabled person a double amputee. Who uses a wheelchair. The layout of this room was great. Low hang clothes rack in closet easy to access from chair. Great roll in shower only thing I saw was shampoo and conditioner need to be moved closer. But I always bring my own. An spoke with the manager about getting them moved. We ate supper there the food an mixed drinks we're amazing Great people run the bistro. The chief is amazing. Had breakfast as well this morning and was also amazing. The fridge microwave and coffee was all down low. As a disabled person I have to say this is by far one of the best I've stayed in
This Courtyard is in an ideal location. Very accessible to stores for all of your shopping needs and to restaurants. This is a good thing because if you think that you’re going to get a free breakfast here guess what you’re wrong. They have food but it’s definitely not free. The beds were nice w the room itself was pretty clean but the shower head 🚿 and shower chair were full of mildew. I had ad to take some pictures. The cleaning crew needs to step up on cleaning these showers.
I would just like to say my experience at the hotel was amazing. My kids and I had breakfast and everything was delicious. I was greeted promptly by the lady at the bistro and the food was brought out in a timely manner. I have to say I wasn't disappointed. I didn't get a chance to thank the chef, but this was one of the best breakfast meals I've had in a long time. I would definitely go back.
My visit to the Courtyard Marriott was an amazing experience ! especially when it came down to the food. The breakfast was honestly the best breakfast i've ever had. Coming later that night, I tried the chicken alfredo nachos.. INSANELY DELICIOUS!! I can only thank CHEF JEROME for my amazing experience , everything was fresh and delicious. Definitely will be coming back !!
