Our fourth time eating at El Cacique. What a great experience! We all had different dishes & brought home as much food as we had eaten at the restaurant. The food is absolutely the best Mexican food we have eaten.
Really Great service! I came in and ordered food to go so i had a drink while waiting. My food was out before I finished my margarita! Which was really good and nice sized! I got the birria tacos and an order of the steak, chicken, and shrimp queso. Food was really good. The tacos were nice and plump! They weren't stingy with the meat at all. I definitely plan on going back.

My main reason for visiting this Mexican restaurant was to try their Birria tacos. I had only experienced them once before at a different eatery. Arriving during lunchtime, I was pleasantly surprised to find the place nearly empty, which allowed me to choose my own seat. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, and the server was attentive, checking on me frequently. Now, onto the tacos - they come in sets of four, which felt a bit more than I anticipated for a lunch portion. However, they were generously filled with flavorful meat. I should note that I'm not particularly fond of onions, and these tacos had quite a heavy onion presence. In my next visit, I plan to order them without onions and perhaps some extra cheese. On the taste scale, I'd rate these tacos a 7 out of 10. Despite my onion preference, I would highly recommend giving them a try.

I had the fajita quesadilla and my friend had the nachos. So good! Great portion size for the price. We also got the margarita flight (4 flavored margarita sampler) I will def be returning for this yummy authentic Mexican food! Our waitress was also AMAZING.Dietary restrictions: Made accommodations for a shrimp allergy. Much appreciated.

Food is great, but it smells too much like very strong cheap incense. I can’t enjoy my food with that smell in the air. Please stop putting incense and deodorizers.

Food was authentic and very good, service was great. Probably one of the most expensive Mexican food restaurants in the area. Lunch special start at $12, some burritos cost $19.99, again the food was very good but probably won’t go back due to how overpriced they are.
I had an unpleasant experience at this establishment as the odor of fecal matter was quite prominent, which made it difficult for me to enjoy my meal. Additionally, the chips served were completely stale. When we informed the server about these issues and decided not to continue with our meal, we were still charged for the stale chips. The quality of the water was also disappointing, tasting like tap water with ice rather than being properly filtered. Overall, these factors contributed to a rather unpleasant and unsatisfactory dining experience.
