Saw the restaurant (Hampton, Ga location) online and the rave reviews and my husband and I wanted to give them a try. Placed an online order for delivery. When the order arrived, half of the order was missing. Tried to reach out to the restaurant for about 10 minutes before the call actually connected while my husband tried to reach the delivery service. Neither party would take responsibility for the mishap. We have to travel to the restaurant the retrieve the rest of the order. We hoped as a sign of good will that a least the order could be remade to be fresh - they refused. Horrible service and even more horrible was the food. Would never recommend. A one and done.

🐓 First Visit to Frozen Rooster 🐓 First time visiting Frozen Rooster and I’m sooo glad my friend didn’t steer me wrong 😂 The staff was super friendly, the decor was really cute, and the vibes were on point. Now let’s talk about the food 😋🔥 I ordered the 6-piece wing combo and EVERYTHING was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Ive been to Frozen Rooster 3 times. Once under the old regime and twice under the new. The last two times the food was somewhat better but still under whelming. The catfish looks bigger on the picture and is highly greasy, the fries are hit or miss. The wings were dry and tasted like the end of the day chicken. The thing that killed my last visit was the fact I ordered online and had the option to add a milkshake with my meal, upon arriving the lady behind the counter told me they took my drink off of my order and gave me the milkshake instead because you can’t have both but I did it on my visit EARLIER THAT WEEK. They need to get some type of order and continuity established between their shifts because there is no reason I should be able to get both one day but the next time get told no. Unfortunately this looks like another fellow black owned business that I won’t be able to support.

I tried Frozen Rooster today and honestly left a bit disappointed. The chicken wings had potential, but they were extremely greasy — so much so that the grease overpowered any flavor the wings were supposed to have. With a little less oil, they probably would’ve been much better.
The fries were also hard to enjoy, but for a different reason. They were coated in so much seasoning salt that the flavor became overwhelming instead of tasty.
Overall, Frozen Rooster has room to improve. A lighter hand with the grease and seasoning would make a big difference in the food quality.

Drove one hour to try this place. Got back home and noticed hair on pieces of the chicken. Not just one, multiple…Do you guys not wear hair nets? This is disgusting and a waste of time and money.
The wings were great! I will absolutely return to this place. The online ordering process needs some attention, so I just called my order in.

We saw a video of this restaurant on TikTok so of course we wanted to try the Hot Honey Fried Fish. We drove from Lawrenceville, which was almost a 90 minute ride but it was worth it. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly and polite. The food was cooked to perfection and the serving sizes were plenty and they are very reasonably priced! We loved it.
We don’t live close, but we will most be back!

The lines were long and we didn’t want the boys food to be cold. I messaged your Instagram and to my surprise you all answered AND HOOKED OUR BOYS UP! Steaming hot delicious wings!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
