I have been coming here for years and when I tell you it feels like home, no lie is told. Every person here is very loving and the food is just well your grandmas down south cooking. Never have been so embarrassed in my life... I was next in line to order food...then a white male walk ahead of me and the waitress at the register turned from me and took his order before me, I was so surprised I just turned around and left, not that it will make any difference but I don't think I'll be going back there..

The restaurant is very welcoming and it has a really nice old school diner feel. I called in my order and picked it up without any issues. I ordered the breakfast with grits scrambled eggs with cheese toast and most importantly streak of lean. Any time I see streak of lean or thick rind on bacon I order it so Iam very familiarwith it. I was highly disappointed because I was served what my grandmother calls Salt meat which was so salty there is no way a person could eat it. People use it to season vegetables like greens or cabbage not to just eat due to the high salt content. I had to trash it. That ruined my experience.

I really wanted to like this place. The service is good, but the food was terrible. The pancakes were hard and rubbery. Everything just tasted like school cafeteria quality. I don't understand how it could be this bad, and it was very expensive for what it was. Too bad because it could be a nice place.

I’ve been here a few times for lunch and I really like it. Good and simple southern breakfast/brunch food. The fried pickles were amazing! My country fried steak was really good even though I found myself wishing it was bigger. The service is really great! All the servers are super nice.
