As a sushi lover I was very happy to hear about this place since we come over from Europe to McDonough a few times every year. Absolutely love the concept of running sushi, and the choice was very good with very reasonable prices.
However, I'm probably too old to enjoy the robots fully. We were a party of 6, and had to share only one tablet with the menu for those who didn't help themselves from the conveyor belt, and that took forever.
Maki and nigiri was good, steamed bun very good. Tiny mishaps was taken care of, like getting bottled beer when ordering draft. My friend unfortunately got a hair in his dish with rice, and lost his appetite.
Plastic disposable forks is not what you expect in a restaurant.
Might come back, but not first choice.

Please make sure you ask for a price breakdown. Beware of Sebastian L… dont trust your server w the price that they say—do your own calculations. I was double charged and needed to go back in there to sort it out with the manager.

First time visiting and we enjoyed absolutely everything from the greeting, bartender, food served, and the overall atmosphere. I love the robot idea and the rotating sushi bar. We will definitely return.

love the atmosphere, having robots deliver your food is pretty cool lol. we got ramen & some sushi, both were good but I will say my regular ramen place is better. sushi was good & prepared very nicely, I think you get better(and fresher) sushi when you order it instead of pulling it off the revolving sushi but it was very cool nonetheless. overall loved my experience & will be back!

I'm not normally a sushi eater. I tend to stick with the crunchy California roll from Kroger every once in a while... but a friend demanded i try this place and I'm so glad I did!!!! The food here was stellar the service was awesome and even the manager named Frida was helpful and friendly with suggestions! I ate so many new things and left stuffed to the gills (no pun intended)

Extremely disappointed coming here for the first time. I got the lunch bulgogi fried rice and my mother got the steak, shrimp and pork hibachi. Although the rice had a good flavor it had absolutely no bulgogi in it. It had a silver of meat in it. I couldn’t even tell if it tasted like bulgogi or not. My mom said the hibachi steak in particular had meat that wasn’t good quality. She didn’t even bring her leftovers home. She never does that. Sweet tea was light brown sweeten water. Won’t be back.

We liked the restaurant at the first because it the ambiance, but the waitress messed up with the food. Didn't get food and things didn't get put and when the manager came no one wanted to take accountability, no apologies, but offered to take a percentage off. We're sorry about that would have gone a long way, but customer service isn't priority everywhere.

What an interesting concept. You can get just about anything you could want here. The decor inside is very nice and welcoming. The menu may leave you with a case of indecisiveness. But at that point, just get two or three things. The prices are affordable which is something you don’t see very often.

My friend and I ordered the Bulgogi Beef Fried Rice w/ Kimchi, Teriyaki Chicken Plate, Edamame, Chicken Karaage, and the Ferry When Sushi Roll. Of course we ended up with leftovers to enjoy for lunch the next day. I will say, the food isn’t the most authentic as if you were to go to those mom and pop shops but it still hits when your in the mood for a specific type of cuisine.

Its a bit of a drive outside the city but worth it to have a cool experience and order just about anything you want.

This is my first time dining at Hungry Station. They have an impressive menu. I loved the setup of the restaurant. They have a Revolving Sushi bar. They have robots to bring your food to the table. I will definitely go back.

I was not aware of Hungry Station before our friends invited us. I didn’t know what to expect. Even once we were inside still did not know about the way our food was going to be delivered. I was impressed by the conveyor belt sushi delivery. The atmosphere was unique in the level of modern Asian decor. The place felt bright and almost vacation like. It felt like a getaway from the southern norm. When our friends revealed the food would be delivered by robot I was surprised. I still did not know exactly how. I had in my own mind the image of the little robots delivering food on college campuses. But to my surprise it was a larger three tiered tray robot with a touch screen head that talked upon arrival. It was entertaining for sure being our first time there. We immediately thought about bringing our family here. Food was great, service was efficient, and our waitress was helpful and friendly. I highly recommend going to have an experience at Hungry Station. The robot also delivered my complimentary birthday ice cream and sang, on key, happy birthday. Thank you Hungry Station for a great experience.
