READ THIS REVIEW NOW! BEWARE!!! Just had to go online to report them to the health department they served me a plate full of MOVING MAGGOTS!!! NOT ONE MAGGOT, NOT TWO BUT LIKE 50 LIVE MAGGOTS MOVING ON MY JERK CHICKEN. IT WASNT JUST ONE MAGGOT IT WAS SO MANY I COULDNT COUNT I'm still in shock IM SO MAD IM SHAKING never seen anything like that in my entire life!! I want to cry so bad And the lady just kept making excuses and they all were pointing the finger at each other instead of taking responsibility the lady claims she just cooked it and doesn't know how that happened! I wanted to cry because I bought a seamoss drink from them and drank it before my food came out and the lady didn't want to refund the drink only the food!!! She asked me not to leave a bad review but since they didn't refund me for my drink and now my mind is worried if I drink something disgusting then it's only fair that I leave a review. NASTY NASTY NASTY TRUST UR GUT BECAUSE I HAD A GUT FEELING THIS PLACE WAS NASTY WHEN I WALKED IT . I didn't get a pic because they were all surrounding me and I told them I wouldn't leave a review because they were all panicking and asked me not too so I couldn't take it in front of them.

I recently visited this spot and was blown away! The food was full of authentic flavor — everything was fresh, seasoned to perfection, and made with love. The chicken soup had the perfect amount of heat, and the oxtails were fall-off-the-bone tender. The rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains brought it all together beautifully.

The staff was warm, welcoming, and super knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere felt like home — relaxed and full of good vibes. If you’re craving real Jamaican food that hits the spot, this is the place to be. Can’t wait to come back!

I play at the tcf next door and I eat here all the time. I've had almost everything on the menu and I love it all. At the moment I am loving the Rasta Pasta. But the Brown Stew Chicken in my all time favorite.

I purchased a large oxtail with rice and peas and cabbage. The cabbage was okay but the oxtails were dry and FULL of fat, the rice and peas had very little flavor and I didn't get any plantains. The portion of oxtails definitely wasn't worth $28 and to top it off, the service was as bad as the food. I'm Jamaican so I know what good food is supposed to taste like. I would never eat from this place again and I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

This restaurant has a friendly vibe with regulars stopping by for takeout, but its location isn’t ideal due to competition nearby. The owner and her daughter were welcoming. I tried the cabbage, rice and beans, and oxtails. The rice and beans were good, but the cabbage lacked flavor, and the oxtails were tough and dry, with little gravy despite requesting extra. The plantains were also small. Overall, the prices felt too high for the portion sizes and food quality—we spent $62 for two oxtail plates.

Ordered a peas soup… it came with meat in it. I’m vegan. Ordered an oxtail for my client- it was dry, no flavor, little to no gravy & no butter beans. I also ordered rice and peas with it but it came with white rice. And I also ordered a veggie roti - it was extremely salty. I’m Jamaican and this ain’t it.
