I purchased a large oxtail with rice and peas and cabbage. The cabbage was okay but the oxtails were dry and FULL of fat, the rice and peas had very little flavor and I didn't get any plantains. The portion of oxtails definitely wasn't worth $28 and to top it off, the service was as bad as the food. I'm Jamaican so I know what good food is supposed to taste like. I would never eat from this place again and I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

This restaurant has a friendly vibe with regulars stopping by for takeout, but its location isn’t ideal due to competition nearby. The owner and her daughter were welcoming. I tried the cabbage, rice and beans, and oxtails. The rice and beans were good, but the cabbage lacked flavor, and the oxtails were tough and dry, with little gravy despite requesting extra. The plantains were also small. Overall, the prices felt too high for the portion sizes and food quality—we spent $62 for two oxtail plates.

Ordered a peas soup… it came with meat in it. I’m vegan. Ordered an oxtail for my client- it was dry, no flavor, little to no gravy & no butter beans. I also ordered rice and peas with it but it came with white rice. And I also ordered a veggie roti - it was extremely salty. I’m Jamaican and this ain’t it.

the worst Jamaican I’ve ever had … i ordered a $30 oxtail plate .. I only got 4 pieces of oxtails . i really do not recommend . the cabbage was super hard .. barely even cooked . i wish I got McDonalds or something .. this was not paradise . but after eating this meal , I definitely felt like I was on a island starving .. please don’t come here .. 0/10 don’t recommend.

Placed an order for jerk chk dinner w rice& peas and cabbage, a chk soup, a curry chk patty and a side of cabbage. When I say there’s was nothing, and I mean NOTHING Jamaican about this so called Jamaican food. I can cook/season my food to taste like it came from the island a thousand times better than this. The chk soup though??!? Flavorless, and NO CHICKEN! They had the nerve to scoop out two very large dumplings and a few carrots and potatoes with a load of extremely watered down liquid where it’s evident they tried to stretch the soup pot. If you’re going to do that then why not add just a few pieces of chicken/vegetables, a thickener and some SEASONING!!!??♀️ Not a drop of gravy was added to the rice as requested and the jerk chk tasted more like chk w some bbq sauce thrown on it; Nothing jerk about it. very Such a huge disappointment, but it’s ok. You got me once, but never again.

But today I ordered curry Goat they called and stated that the curry goat was not ready yet and said no problem I will still wait ( but it is how she said it like they didn't really want to cook it) fast forward Y'all could have kept this this curry goat was not freshly made at all look like. Someone leftover food from the night before. If you don't have it just say That!!!
