It's nice little spot to go to in McDonough to listen to music and just hang out.
Our server was working the floor and the bar at the same time and was really amazing.
The food was ok but my margarita was really good.

Wow, you can't even leave an honest review without the workers getting offended and implying that you were not there because of "weather". Well here is the deal..since the "weather" is inclement, I got bored and decided to "contribute" since my phone asked me and all. So, I clicked "contribute", and what do you know? I happen to be at J.R Crickets A WEEK AGO and decided to leave a review based on my experience. I really wish these sensitive business owners would stop trying to discredit people because they didn't leave the review you wanted them to. Screenshot attached. GROW UP, and DO BETTER...wow

Super slow service order the lunch special 10 mins was told it would take 10-15 minutes got there waited an additional 20 mins asked for a refund took 10 minutes to do that was late back to work with no lunch and not even an apology never will see my business agin

Wings are always good here.. the only thing I suggest is toss the wings better. If I ask for extra LP sprinkles..don't just pile that on the ones on top so when I open the togo container I see the extra LP on just those wings...but the ones on the bottom have none.. make that make sense. Change the fry oil.. fried are brown and not fresh and golden

The owner or manger of this establishment ask people during the interview process for their ssn and refuses to trash it when they’re not selected for the job. They tried to fight my friend when asked for their ssn to be erased on the job application. Wouldn’t recommend applying to this location.

Juss throw da whole restaurant away I was otw to go get the food nd wen I got there they still made me pay even tho I told them I order on Uber but they made me cancel bcuz I had no to get my food driver so I paid with cash any they kept the money on Uber eats because it says they started making the order nd I canceled so someone so they not gone give me my money need to run my money

Hostile Lunch Environment
I’ve always loved J.R. Crickets, but my experience at the McDonough location was incredibly disappointing. I simply asked for fresh fries because the ones I received were cold. Instead of understanding the request, the waitress told me no, explaining the order had been sitting. When I asked to speak with the manager/owner, he was more reasonable and agreed to give me fresh fries. Unfortunately, the waitress then went to the back and was clearly unhappy, and when the manager returned, he had an attitude as well.
It’s unfortunate to be treated so poorly when you’re just trying to support a business. This is actually the second bad experience I’ve had here, and there won’t be a third. I support J.R. Crickets and their brand, but this particular location needs to work on how they treat their customers. All I wanted was some hot fries for my family—crazy, right? You can definitely feel when you’re not welcome, and sadly, that was the case here.
I eventually received the fries and I apologize to the manager for costing you so much money.

I will now be giving a review of 1 stars because I Can feel the same attitude that I received in the restaurant if you are going to be in this industry learn how to treat people and take accountability the Service industry is really suffering because of people like you and you seem to be an older gentleman which is even sadder. If you can’t be pleasant to the people you serve please, higher people that can. It’s usually not what you say it’s how you say it. It’s not what you do it’s how you do it. I don’t write reviews unless I get horrible food or Horrible service. For the record didn’t think I had to mention that we are in the metro Atlanta area and there is traffic everywhere. Also there is no need to lie it was not an 1hr and 10 mins after I placed my order, let’s please get real sir. The reply to my comment has brought out the same trauma I faced while in your restaurant twice I guess I’m a glutton for punishment. Won’t happen again though please treat people better man you need to really work on that like Seriously!

This has by far been the best experience at a bar/grill. The staff is so kind and attentive. The fried mushroom are delicious! Great place to sit down watch the game and drink a cold beer!!
