After a hard day at work. My husband and I decided to stop and have a nice meal at Longhorn in McDonough, Georgia. Our waitress was not personable at all. She didn’t check on us to see if we was OK, even though she passed our table several times waiting on others. When our food came out. It looked very good. As I started eating my food, I noticed I had a long blonde hair in my food and on my side plate. They took my food back,( which I would never let them take my food). The manager insisted to make me another one. By the that time I got my food back, my husband had already finished his food. I was so disappointed. It was late, so I had to take it home. For the inconvenience, I would have thought that it would have been on the house. No it wasn’t! Not even a gift card. So, my dinner was an appetizer and bread. I hope that I don’t wake up in the middle of the night hungry.

I ordered a chopped steak medium rare. Half was good other half was rare. Sent back and they brought back same piece well done. I asked how they cooked it. Server said threw it back on the grill. I said you threw half eaten food on the grill? He said it’s a corner of the grill we fix orders gross!!! No I didn’t eat it.

I have always enjoyed dining at this location. This is a busy location & they are very well staffed to handle the large volume of customers. Our meal was great, as usual with our server doing a great job. We ordered French Onion soup & asked the server to please make sure it's hot. She acknowledged our request stating the soup sometimes is not served at the best temperature. The serving temperature of Longhorns soup is less than desirable but that's a post for another day. We look forward to meeting our friends & dining at this Longhorn location.

My whole order was completely wrong. I ordered a ribeye and crusted chicken. Did not get my ribeye or mashed potatoes. Got what I thought were 2 orders of crusted parmesan chickens ended up being 3 out of 4 pieces being an actual pork chop. Never will I be coming back to this one.

This longhorn always seems to be hit or miss. Literally set for 30 minutes after our food was supposed to be ready. To then recieved a call that they didn’t even have the lamb that was ordered. Which i get we all get busy but to know you have been out of a popular item on your menu, and not call your customer immediately after the order was place is kind of aggravating. I hope know one else has to wait almost an hour to know they won’t get the food they ordered.

I have no idea who is working at Longhorns in McDonough, Ga or who is managing it. The quality of the food is gone down and my curbside order has been wrong at least 3 times. I was insulted when the manager offered me a $10 gift card as if I could purchase anything in the restaurant for that amount. I asked for the general manager’s info because someone has to eventually take responsibility. This is ridiculous over and over again. David told me the general manager would be in closer to the weekend. That is an unprofessional answer and did not help me at all. I asked do I have to keep calling to find out when he is there. His answer was yes! Wow this is not how you do business, I’m done spending my money at that location.

Some of the servers are racist. Against our better judgement, my husband and I decided to give this Longhorn another shot after a not so pleasant experience. Our first bad experience was after being seated, being ignored and overlooked by a white male server. After about 10 minutes the white server, hit us with a, "nobody's been over here yet" after I went to the manager to request a different server. We decided to leave. I wrote a review and vowed to never spend another dime in that establishment. Fast forward to yesterday Feb 15, 2025. My husband and I decided to stay on our side of town and had a taste for steak, so we went to longhorn. I put our name on the waiting list and by the time we arrived, we waited not even 5 minutes and were seated in a long booth that could accommodate a large party if you put tables together but others could sit next to you without being so close. We sat and waited on a greeting for about 10 to 15 minutes. A table next to us along the same booth was seated with a white male and female. They were greeted immediately by a white female server. I politely tapped her and said excuse me, I was dismissed by a give me a second as she proceeded to take the table who was sat after us order. She barely turned to us and said "nobody's been over here yet", let me go check". I decided to go to the white manager and told her what had occurred. The manager asked was the server a white girl, I said yes and the manager ensured me that she was our server. The manager offered another server, but we were done and decided to leave. My only regret is not getting the manager and the servers name. We decided to go to another establishment across town and the service was great.

I have been coming here ordering the ribeye for last 2 years food usually is good but lately the last couple of months my steak has been over cooked. I like my steak medium and it looks more like well done and when I send it back it still come back over cooked. Apparently the grill is broken and they don't seem to want to fix it. So I think I'm not coming back when texas roadhouse is a exit before longhorns.

I ordered ribeye. Cooked as ordered but not very much flavor. Sweet potato and salad was great. Bread was to crispy. Salmon was delicious. Had a 30 min wait and the place was packed. Menu said to ask waitress about what was on draft . She had no clue. Love the atmosphere. Everyone around us seemed to be enjoying their food. Waitress was super busy so I forgive her for not hearing my ask for water 2 times. Place was clean.

Came in for dine in and was told a 45 minute wait. Waited over two hours and complained multiple times and was told that they couldn’t do anything. Despite seeing multiple tables get up and leave. We even told them we would sit in two different tables. The employees were just standing around and on their phones the whole time too.

My food was ready upon arrival so that was a plus! HOWEVER, all meats were burnt and tasted burnt. I ordered a outlaw ribeye with Parmesan crust. And even the cheese didn’t mask the burnt meat. The ribs OMG burnt. I’m not sure if it was because they were closing @8 and I picked up at 7:25. Maybe trying to rush to be done or something I’m not sure but I was not pleased with the order! I would like a refund or replacement food

I got the most expensive steak, asking for it medium rare. Instead, I was served what could only be described as a beef-flavored piece of charcoal. It was so dry, it could've been used as an impromptu paperweight. However, the service was top-notch; the staff was so attentive, I almost forgot about the Sahara Desert I was chewing through. If only the steak could've been as well-done as their customer service, I might have enjoyed my meal.
