Labeled Mexican restaurant, but the food is not Mexican at all. Tacos are either a hardshell or flour tortilla, which is not authentic Mexican food. Beans annd sides don’t have salt. Burrito covered in sauce that makes it mushy. Bad food & OK service.

Great food and the salsa is really good too. They have the best customer service. My family loves Los Avina.

My family has been coming here since the 90's! We moved away years ago and still drive over an hour every few weeks to eat here. The food is delicious, the taco shells are homemade, the salsa is so good, the chips are nice and crispy and the margaritas are the best I've ever had! The Avina family really treat you like you're family and are great, kind people. The resturant is clean and has a great vibe. This is hands down the best Mexican resturant!! The service and food are top notch!

Unfortunately we will not be back to this restaurant. My husband and I along with another couple were the only diners in the restaurant. Our food took at least 45 minutes to come out. We tried to be very understanding even when the waitress told us that the cook had put our food in to go boxes instead of on plates. It still took about 10 minutes for us to get our food. I ordered a rib eye and sliced potatoes, which was terrible. The steak was way way way overcooked and the potatoes were undercooked. My husband’s food however was good. I took literally one small bite of the steak and half of one of the potatoes and sent the whole dish back. My husband asked for a to go box because at that point we were annoyed and ready to leave. Oh and not to mention the bartender and waitress were both drinking alcohol. When we received our check, the steak was still on our bill. I told her I didn’t eat it and I wasn’t paying for it. We also had ordered something to go. She did end up taking the steak off but charged us for the containers for the to go meal. Also we got charged 4% for using a debit card. It was a very disappointing experience because we really did enjoy this restaurant the other times we visited.

Our favorite mexican food restaurant for over 25 years. The food is always good and they have the best salsa. If you enjoy supporting local family owned businesses, you will want to eat there.
