Horrible ,ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! Bland
no taste! Terrible. Even the cornbread was awful.” Southern cooking “ is the complete opposite of what this terrible establishment serves.

The food is alright, i’ve definitely had better, it’s not homemade and it’s not fresh. the vegetables are clearly from a can, and they tell you it’s homemade. I had gotten tea and there were gnats in my cup, and when i said something about it, the girl i told acted like nothing was wrong. She was NOT our server, however ours was busy. And when you walk in, there’s just gnats everywhere, and at the back table in the corner closest to the kitchen is also full of gnats. I don’t recommend unless you want to eat at a place where hygiene and cleanliness obviously doesn’t matter. The server we had was great though, Payton, she’s the only good thing about the restaurant.

I found this place while searching for breakfast spots in McDonough but ended up coming for lunch instead. I was excited to see whole catfish on the menu, but they only had fillets available—and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Fried to a perfect golden brown, as you can see. Everything was cooked just right. The hush puppies were a bit gummy, probably because of their size, but still tasty. And the sweet tea? True Southern style. I’d definitely stop by again if I’m in the area—though that I-75 traffic can be a headache.
