Poor Customer Service Experience – 801 Hwy 81 E McDonough GA– 12 AUG 2025 (9:35-9:40 AM)

This morning, I visited your Lake Dow Location around 9:35-9:40AM to order your Mix & Match breakfast deal (two breakfast sandwiches for $4.79, as advertised on your drive-thru signage).

When I asked about the deal, the first employee told me they were “doing breakfast,” which I already knew. I clarified that I wanted the advertised 2-for-$4.79 deal. Another employee joined the conversation and stated there were “two different deals.” Both employees spoke to me in a tone that came across as condescending, as if I didn’t understand the menu — which was both disrespectful and unnecessary.

When I began to list the first sandwich I wanted, I was interrupted before I could finish. I explained that I was about to give the second one, and the employee told me it wasn’t part of the deal — even though it was clearly displayed on the signage at the menu board.

This interaction was frustrating for two reasons:
1. The tone and attitude from both employees were unprofessional and made me feel demeaned as a customer.
2. Staff should be aware of the promotions displayed at their own location to avoid giving customers incorrect information.

I left without ordering because I could feel myself becoming upset, and I didn’t want to escalate the situation. However, I believe this store would greatly benefit from additional training on customer service etiquette and product knowledge.

Please look into this matter and address it with the employees who were working the drive-thru at approximately 9:35- 9:40 AM.

The atmosphere could be a lot better, but the food and service are actually pretty good compared to where I came from in the Florida Keys. I’m sorry but Key West McDonald’s is the absolute worst in America. It doesn’t even come close to this place is paradise compared to the other one.

Ordered curbside and it never came. Instead of fixing it the manager just wanted to argue about how everyone else is wrong. Paid for food I never got. Will never return.

I placed a mobile order for pickup; however, due to a time-sensitive commitment, I attempted to expedite the process via the drive-thru. Despite identifying myself as the app-based order recipient, the employee insisted on in-person pickup. My attempts to clarify the situation, including providing the order confirmation code, were met with dismissive behavior. While the subsequent interaction with a helpful employee resulted in a prompt and satisfactory order fulfillment, and the food quality was excellent, the initial customer service experience requires significant improvement.

I like that they are open in the we hours of the morning though i have found that most of the time they don’t open when the hours say they should be open here on google maps so it’s kind of a guessing game whether they will be open when I drive there early mornings. My suggestion would be for this location to update their hours because it is not correct on google maps. Seems like it might be a staffing issue.

Came march 13 around 11:20… I asked for a LARGE strawberry banana smoothie , was given a HALFWAY FILLED MEDIUM????? I asked for the correct size and for it to be filled all the way, the heavy darkskin lady had a terrible attitude and snatched it back. they told me to pull forward 10 minutes later here’s is my smoothie watered down and once again halfway filled. I didn’t even have the time to send it back again. I really am tired of this , every time i come she had a bad attitude. this is rediculous and they need better staff.

Yea, it's a a McDonald's, but the people here walk right past you and don't ask if you have been served. People that appear to be managers also ignore customers. I don't expect much from fast food places, but as someone who is in this location often to do uber eats, it's a consistent issue. Sometimes you'll see your order sitting right there and no one will address you. You shouldn't have to flag down employees for some basic courtesy. Smh.

Urgent Complaint Regarding Manager’s Misconduct – Felicia Driver

I am writing to formally report an unacceptable experience I had at this location: My family and I placed a simple order of two fries and two drinks, but we waited over 30 minutes without receiving our food. Given that my blood sugar was low and my two young children were hungry, I requested a refund due to the excessive delay.

Instead of resolving the issue professionally, the on-duty manager Felicia Driver refused to provide a refund and escalated the situation by calling the police on me. It was only after the police intervened that I was finally given my refund. This was an unnecessary, humiliating, and distressing experience. I have video evidence, pictures, receipts, and witnesses proving the manager and staff’s unprofessional behavior.

I want disciplinary action taken against the manager and staff involved. Their conduct does not align with McDonald’s standards of customer service.

Kid-friendliness: The manager Felicia Driver lied to the police and said that my kids were bad. They were in the playground area & I will like video evidence for personal use.
