Call first. This place was closed. The food looked so good on social media.
I drove twenty five minutes back roads to meet my friends there. After reading the review about fighting insects, a piece of hair in customers food, and a one time visit from server....I am glad it was closed with a note on the door.
Food was amazing as well as our server “King!”

First time here and will definitely be a new regular spot. Salmon bites in hot honey, surf & turf burger, grits and peach French Toast was amazing! Our server Chadirah was fabulous!

Can’t tell you how the food is because we had to end up walking out. When we arrived we were told there was a 10 minute wait but yet there were only 5 tables that had people at them who already had their food. We waited over 20 minutes and no one even came to take our drink order. Yes, 20 mins and not even drink orders taken. One table next to us was saying they had been waiting 15 mins just for the ticket to be brought so they could check out. Needless to say we left. If the owner does not change their staff they are going to lose way more business.
Took an hour and a half to get food.

I’m thinking this cinnamon on the waffle this waffle is burnt and disgusting a waste of my money why give this to someone tasting nothing like a strawberry waffle

This was honestly one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had. After waiting nearly 50 minutes for our food, we were told that several of the items we ordered were unavailable. What’s worse is that many of the dishes listed on the menu aren’t even being served anymore — yet customers are still being handed outdated menus.
We drove an hour and a half to dine here, excited to support a minority-owned business that serves a primarily minority community, but the experience fell far short of expectations. When I first tried to order the key lime waffle and was told it wasn’t available, that should have been the first sign of what was to come.
It’s disappointing because the potential is clearly there, but poor communication, long wait times, and an inaccurate menu made this visit a major letdown. I can’t in good faith recommend this restaurant until these issues are addressed.

Went this morning for breakfast. My husband and I were there for an hour before we got our food. I ordered pancakes and chicken tenders. The chicken was so hard I could only eat the inside. The pancakes were not fluffy and the plate had no appeal. The food was just thrown on the plate. My husband’s food didn’t come out together. The grits and eggs came after he was finished eating his pancake and cheap chicken sausage.
This was my second visit. I came about 5 months ago with some friends. The food that time was questionable but ok so I gave it another try.
Will not be returning. However, our waitress was nice and pleasant.
