I was only stared down instead seeing if I needed help with placing an order since it’s my first time entering here. She just literally stared at me. It was so awkward. I understand maybe waiting on me to say something… but being with me being in the customer service field for 10+ years it’s like people need to be trained on service. Trained to ask “is this your first time here” maybe share what’s your favorite item on the menu…she was a sweet lady but awkward service. I didn’t feel like they wanted. I’m just trying to support a business in my off day. I walked out. I felt like I was bothering them. No Caribbean aromatics was surrounding the restaurant anyways. I literally just left. At 12:00pm on a Monday afternoon. Searching for somewhere I feel welcomed near me

The portion is small for a large. I got 5 small pieces of chicken. Bland. At least I gave this place a try.

Food is always good but the portions are slacking lately. I used to get more than 5 (small-med) bones for a large, nearly $30 plate. I really wish the value was there. Otherwise this is a 5 star review.

AMAZING! I cannot say enough great things about the SERVICE and FOOD that this restaurant provided during my husband’s surprise birthday party! One guest described the cabbage like, “butter!” That along with the jerk chicken, the spicy sauce, party sized beef patties, and the ox tails were so very DELICIOUS! The delivery and setup were on time and the presentation was just as great as the food! Thank You! I will DEFINITELY be using your services again soon!

Good price. Patties are GOOD. Food is average served hot and fresh but not as much flavor as I’m used to. Chicken was mostly bones. Will give them another try. Will come back for some Ackee

The fried dumpling were ice cold. They were fried but weren't even placed under a heat lamp. The corn meal was clumpy, room temperature and not loose like a porridge, but thick and lacked any flavor. The callaloo loaf was 90% bread, very little callaloo.

Update: Thank you for the reply. I’m so glad to know it’s just food coloring. I’ll have to stop in another day and try the chicken again.

I stopped in to get beef patties and ordered one chicken patty to try. I took one bite and then realized it has a green spot (mold or marker?). Idk what it is but it grossed me out. I did try the beef patties after checking them out and those were fine. I tried calling to let them know they may need to check their chicken patties but no answer.

Had some rices & peas with gravy, some beef patties. They were delicious and reasonable prices.

I bought the Jamaican bread. It was horrible, like it had been sitting out for days it smelled awful and it was soft and damp and just gross I had to toss a loaf of bread that cost more than $10:00. Furthermore when I called to make a complaint they picked up the phone and then promptly hang the call up. The health inspector should pay this place a visit I am sure it’s your place. I bought a meat patty some coconut bulla and the stale bread. It matters not that the bread costs $6plus it was stale and smelling. He cashier can verify that I was there she asked me to hold the door for a very senior customer. I am SURE that bread was not baked on Wednesday

Great ox tail. But buy a small you get the same amount as a large.
