I was visiting from Philly and I can’t wait to come back. The food is incredible! Fried pork chops greens and loaded baked potatoes. Live music! The drinks were perfectly made and affordable. Neika our sever told me about the margaritas. Don’t change a thing.

Aldi was our server she has Great Customer Service,very friendly, nice and she made sure she kept coming back to the table to check on us..Keep Up The Good Work!! This was the most pathetic meal we have had in a restaurant in a very long time. I ordered a ribeye, rare, with fries and my wife ordered the fried grouper and baked potato. After 10 minutes she was told there were no potatoes left and needed to order something else and from the limited selection she chose sweet potato fries. Another 10 minutes passed and the waitress came back and said they “found” a potato, we were kind of afraid to ask where they found it, but my wife changed her order back to the baked potato. Another 10 minutes passed and my meal came out, but they had to wait for this new found baked potato to finish up. My steak was already relatively cold when I received it and it was seriously overcooked. While it had nice sear marks, it was the type of overcooked that comes from a steak that is only a quarter inch thick. A few minutes passed, my wife still had not received her meal, but at her insistence I started eating my meal but did not, could not have more than a couple bites. Horrible. My wife finally received her meal, the potato was shriveled up as if a twice baked potato and her grouper was as raw as could be, cold to the touch in the middle even. Only the breading was cooked. We wound up boxing everything up, the remaining 90% of my steak was fed to the dog, at least he liked it, my wife’s grouper needed 40 minutes in the oven next night to cook it through. I hope these pics load into the review, in all we would have been happier if my steak was only done as much as her fish, and her fish was as done as my steak.

Pilgreens has always been a special place in our neighborhood, and I want to start by acknowledging the previous owners. They were warm, friendly, and genuinely cared about their customers. You could tell they took great pride in what they built, and that foundation absolutely shows.
With the new ownership, it’s exciting to see Pilgreens being refreshed and thoughtfully revived. The updates to the flooring, paint, and décor instantly make the space feel brighter and more inviting. The addition of draft beers, specialty cocktails, and even mocktails has been such a great touch—especially for families. My young son absolutely loved having a fun, non-alcoholic option just for him 🥤
The new manager, Trish, deserves a special mention. She is incredibly warm and welcoming and truly sets the tone for the entire experience.
One improvement we noticed right away was the salad. It’s noticeably fresher, and you can tell it’s no longer bagged. The addition of blue cheese crumbles was a really nice upgrade, and my husband’s blue cheese dressing made the salad genuinely enjoyable instead of just an afterthought.
Our dinner on Saturday evening was honestly one of the best meals we’ve ever had there. Everything felt elevated while still staying true to what Pilgreens has always been. One small suggestion I’d love to see is offering the option of seasoned steaks alongside the traditional unseasoned ones. I understand many longtime customers prefer them unseasoned, and even without seasoning the steak was still very good—but having the choice would be a great addition.
Overall, the fresh look, thoughtful updates, and welcoming atmosphere made for a much more enjoyable experience. It’s wonderful to see Pilgreens honoring its roots while confidently moving forward. We’re excited to keep coming back ❤️🥩

Very enjoyable , great for upscale family night out , dinner with friends , B days , function dining room rentals , dress nice, food was cooked perfectly,nice portions and original Southern hospitality as the original historic . Also great view in daytime. Pilgreens location.
Very nice place with terrific views. Plenty of parking and easy access. The service was friendly and the food was good. The menu is limited but what is there was tasty.
