Five STARS ✨ all around. Very nice place. It's a place that you could either dress up or dress down appropriately and enjoy great food, great service and excellent atmosphere.
I live locally and wanted to experience Pilgreen’s because having a steakhouse in your own backyard seems pretty great. I did not enjoy the experience at all. My server was awesome and very attentive but the great service could not distract from the musty smell, dated decor, or lackluster food. I ordered a steak…it was unseasoned and overcooked. The mashed potatoes were tasteless and the collards were tart. I sat on the balcony because the smell on the inside was unappealing....
Outside seating across from the lake is nice! There are two ponds around the restaurant to fish for free! Plenty of free parking! The restaurant is nice! However, the food was awful!
Our salads were stale with old, brown lettuce. The dressing was good! The steaks and desserts were awful! No flavor! Our waiter, Damon was very nice and professional! Personally, the cooks were lazy and not creative. They left butter inside of the mashed potatoes instead of mixing...
