My first time here today. I got Tofu Curry Penang takeout. The service was great! The curry is very tasty, but like some others have mentioned, I would have enjoyed more vegetables in it. I will definitely return to try some other dishes.

Food was good. A bit much fish sauce in some of the meals, but overall very good.

I’ll Try It

We’ve tried many dishes at Red Orchid over the past couple of years, and have never had a bad bite.

Thai Tea had a pop of orange, and the creamy texture was perfect. The black tea base was recognizable but not overpowering, and the subtle vanilla/sweetness balanced very well. We get 1 to sip and share every time.

Pot stickers-The red curry sauce was smooth and flavorful, but a little too viscous. We would have like it to be a bit thicker, but the flavor was phenomenal.

Satay Chicken-Tender, juicy chicken skewers with a nice hint of turmeric and ginger. We order these every time. Getting a slight drizzle of the peanut sauce with the crunchy carrots and cucumbers is a bomb mix.

Yellow Curry-This is our favorite we’ve had. The coconut milk combined with the vegetables and spices is the perfect blend. If you order nothing else, order this.

Namtok-We surprisingly enjoyed this dish a lot. The beef was tender and not overly chewy, and the lime/chili pepper flavor was a real pop in each bite. It wasn’t a warm dish, if that’s what you’re interested in. But they provide a side wedge of cabbage to scoop with.

Critical Feedback-The interior is quite dated, and the bathrooms could certainly use some love. But the wait staff was engaging with our questions and providing recommendations, and we always have leftovers.

It’s a small unassuming little restaurant but trust me when I say it’s a hidden gem. The pad Thai is out of this world and the crab angel appetizer was perfection. So crunchy! A lot like crab rangoon but made with real crab. I’m gonna be dreaming about this food for days.

I’m pretty picky about Thai food, but this place has definitely become one of my favorites. Highly recommend the drunken noodles and tom yum soup! It was delicious

There are several other places to eat at then this hole in the wall. Management is not good. How did Henry County let a restaurant like this in our community?
