I had breakfast there on Veterans Day 2024, the food was good and the service was top notch. They have a full bar and a good breakfast/brunch menu to go with it. I had the fish & grits and it was very good. I will return.

Made a reservation for a birthday brunch and the owner had my table set up already decorated. All of the staff gave us excellent customer service and ensured everyone at my table had what they want/ needed and they also came to check if we liked the food. They took care of us 100%! I would recommend for anyone to come check this place out.

I’ve been eyeing this restaurant for a while now, and decided to place my first and last order today… I’m super disappointed in the prices, quantity and quality. I ordered the fried green tomatoes, a waffle and salmon croquettes… The fried green tomatoes looked nice, but the red and green peppers weren’t necessary… The taste was okay, a little too spicy for such a simple southern delicacy. The waffle wasn’t cooked all the way through, and had some mushiness on the inside… The biggest disappointment was the salmon croquettes: I have to take partial blame for this because I assumed that there would be more than one, but after I received my order, I realized that croquette was singular and not plural, resulting in us receiving ONE small salmon croquette for $9.00… All in all, I paid almost $35.00 for 4 slices of tomatoes ($10.00), a waffle($8.00) and ONE salmon patty ($8.99)!!! I’m all for supporting small black owned businesses, but when that business triple their prices, I can’t patronize it anymore. I’ve attached pictures for reference.

We came to Scrambled to celebrate my daughter birthday. We heard so much about the restaurant and love brunch. I wanted to check it out. The day we came in was on a Wednesday around 1pm. The place was empty, with no customers. We placed our drink order and looked over the menu. Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable with the menu. Here's my issue, our food order was placed, and it came out extremely fast, as if it was already done. Not freshly cooked to order. I ordered pancakes, cheese eggs, bacon, and grits. My grits were cold and clumpy, and the cheese was just tossed on top, nothing like the pics on the website (buttery creamy grits). The pancakes were cold and dried out. The eggs and bacon were just okay. My daughter got the red velvet waffle & chicken she enjoy the chicken wings. My husband had the BYO omelet w/ ham, cheese, spinach, onions (the spinach was not cooked well it was very tough. It made it hard to eat the omelet. His grits were also cold and clumpy. My oldest daughter enjoyed her French toast. She didn't have any meats or sides with her order. Overall, I was disappointed, I love supporting my community restaurants. I don't know what was happening on this day. Will I try this place again, maybe! I hate that we spent so much money on our experience, though. ??‍♀️

My mom and I recently visited Scrambled for an event, and unfortunately, the restaurant seemed understaffed. With only two or three servers managing both the event attendees and regular patrons, it was clear they were in over their heads.

The servers were visibly frustrated, but they were doing their best to keep up. It seemed like management underestimated the event's size or failed to adjust staffing accordingly.

Our server took a while to take our order, and with my growling stomach, I decided to take matters into my own hands and order at the bar.

When the food finally arrived, I was a bit disappointed. Even my hunger couldn't elevate the taste - it was simply okay. To make matters worse, when it was time to pay for our meal, all the event attendees were asked to join a long line at the bar, where each person had to recite their order to the cashier, slowing down the process.

Needless to say this was not the best brunch experience.

If I could give this place multiple Negative stars I would.First off the waitress have Absolutely no clue what’s going on as far as the menu and we had kids with us so we put our order in as soon as we got there. We sat there for over an hour and come to find out SHE NEVER PUT OUR FOOD IN.All we got was eggs etc and then had the nerve to come back and tell us she went to go check on the food and it was never put in to begin with. This place needs someone who has KNOWLEDGE of restaurant hospitality. terrible experience,Left with empty stomachs and No food ..Something as simple as eggs and grits should not take over an hour.We were never told anything or checked on and over all I would say your better off going to Waffle House .This place is trying to be Breakfast at Barney’s but is serving very much NO BREAKFAST..The prices are average but save your time and go somewhere else. A beautiful Saturday wasted on people who should have common sense to put an order in .

I had the Parmesan crusted chicken and it was tasty. The service was great and the owner, Corey, is super nice. Looking forward to trying their brunch.

Great place to have brunch on the Southside. Super pleasant atmosphere! My girlfriends and I met up on a Saturday afternoon and enjoyed a wonderful meal and mimosa's on the patio. It was such a beautiful day! We had the BEST service, and the owner came out to check on us and shared the upcoming events. We were pleasantly surprise that the Wednesday bible study that he shared will take place soon. Definitely on my return list. I can't wait to go back!!!

Saw this place on facebook and told my guy we have to try it out, went and was greeted with warmth and everything seemed good, waited a little while for our food, the grits was grainy and I had the salmon and grits, had my first salmon crochet and going for the second my appetite was gone because I found a hair on it, called the waiter and showed her, she said oh I see what you are seeing but it’s not a hair, so what is it? She said I know how they work at the back there and it’s not a hair, I will make you another one, I said no thank you I am good. You see what I see but can’t tell me what it is ?
