Not a great pic I already started eating but this is our Absolute favorite location! We had the rib baskets and the meat was so fall off the bone moist I didn't even use sauce, the Brunswick stew was the best I've had anywhere and I'm real picky about my stew, good cole slaw, okra was good not mushy and great sweet tea. Big Thanks to the cook well be back soon!
My wife and I where headed to my grandsons opening game at 7;30.Arrived at Shane's 6:00 and placed our order. Was told it would be around 25 mins but after waiting 1 hour, we decided to get our money back. This took another 25 mins because the lady did not know how to do the return. I asked her to get the Manger (which came) and said a few words to the lady but did not helpI'll NEVER return to this place and I hope they figure out how to correct the way they organize the kitchen because it looked a mess! Also, the lady that seemed to be in charge needs to be trained.

Awesome BBQ restaurant located at a Red light intersection. Just don't turn into the first Entrance from the main road due to it being Exit only. ❤️ ????

We have gone to Shanes on Hwy 81 ever since it opened and loved it!!! Since the owners have changed, it has gone downhill for sure. Especially the service! I placed an online order and it was to be ready in 11 minutes. When I got there, I checked in on the app. After 10 minutes, I called to say I was there and told the server what parking spot I was in. After another 20 minutes, I called again and was told they didn't know I was there! So, it was almost 40 minutes before I had my food and this isn't the first time this has happened. So disappointing!!!

Had to edit my review from 6 years ago, which was a 4 star review, close to 5 stars. Now this year in 2024, I give shanes a 1 star. They skimp you on everything. Tenders and wings are 1/4th the size they used to be. Probably smaller. If you order a large fries back in the day, fries would be overloaded and coming out of the Styrofoam container. Now, the fries will not even fill up 1/2 of the container. Order 4 large fries if you want a normal large fry. I hope you like your tenders and wings dry because they charge you an arm and a leg to toss each piece of chicken! So when you order a 6 piece tender tossed it isn't thee menu price that doesn't include tossing them! Add on about double the menu price if you want them tossed. Uses to be a good deal. I've been a shanes customer since like 2002 over by union Grove. Now I will not go back until they change. I understand inflation but I would rather support a chain restaurant or fast food over this so the value is better. Shanes has sold out and isn't what it used to be. Go up the road to river roost or Anthony's pizza. This place went downhill.
