They never seem to be able to get our order right and employees are rude and unhelpful. They also never answer their phone.

Well, I do understand i came in at closing time and I apologized off the rip for coming in so late, but it was one min till close and there was other people in the restaurant waiting on food already, meaning no-one went out of their way to make my order. The young lady dressed very inappropriately in her super short bottoms didnt want to take my order i had to ask her to ask another team member if I could order something simple. A pulled pork sandwich, no fried foods or anything everything was already made and prepared. As I could see it in the warmer pans in the kitchen. She did let me order one meal and then my boyfriend walks in and they refused to serve him a meal after I just ordered a meal. And suggested maybe a coleslaw because it was a cold item, she "had to ask" ( keep in mind it's only like 8:02pm they "close" at 8pm)
Now im in the service industry too, and i would never treat a paying customer the way i was treated tonight. No smiles, no understanding I just got off work too and just wanted a nice meal for dinner and went out of my way to spend my money with Shane's and this is how I am to be treated because I came into the store that you still had unlocked doors and open sign on . I don't think I will be doing that again.
Given the food is always great. And was good tonight but the service. Not so much. I dont suggest letting young adults run your restaurant for this reason. There was no compassion and understanding in this situation at all. They were just rude and cold.

All the Shane's in my area closed. Always liked the food. Didn't like this restaurant as well as the others. It was noisy & chilly.

Phones should not be allowed at front counter with customers in line.
I’m sure since they are so close to high school they get only school students ??? BUT
Manners matter and so should the customer in front of you ! All girls chatting away with phones in hand telling each other they are adding each other to thier instagrams

Had food delivered door dash so no ratings on service or atmosphere. Food did arrive quickly though. So I added a star for what was a one star experience to me.
This is some of the most mediocre “barbecue” I’ve ever had. Had the full rack and a half chicken. Full rack tasted both unseasoned and smokeless relatively tender but utterly disappointing in every other way.
Half chicken did seem to have more seasoning but no smoke just like the ribs. It’s barbecue, the point is smoke flavor. They missed the point. Coleslaw was super sweet, an odd choice to me & made it tough to eat. Mac & cheese is just Mac with cheese in it. Nothing special but not terrible. Also, ordered sauce on the side, sauce was on the meat.

Ordered a large peach cobbler. It was half full. Gave me side salad that was lettuce only. The manager said she made it herself. Then said I have a week to come back for replacement. With an attitude.

Ordered the football tailgate package and I must say I was very disappointed! The ribs weren’t done, the chop chicken wasn’t chopped and it wasn’t good!

No one answering phone all evening!
Was trying to call to verify they’re open before driving 10 miles to location. Took a chance anyway and thankfully they were open.
Cashier was friendly and verified my order before totaling and accepting payment. Great job! I even left a decent tip in spite of carry out order.
Now the problems…
1) I get all the way home only to discover almost half my order was left out. Yes I partly blame myself because I didn’t check my order before leaving.
2) The Smoked Wings were very salty and cooked to hard to eat.
3) Tried calling several times to let them know about the items left off the order but guess what, no answer!!! 🤬
I guess I just got screwed out of my money. Very disappointed right now!!!

I hope this matter was taken care of for the church and family that was put out. This was after being told it was dropped by their employees and would have it to them by three pm and never showed up. This was a grieving family along with a church for one of its longest members. This establishment is better than this and I would like to see it publicly correct the issue along with taking care of each family member. This was a total embarrassment to the church toward the family. Shane I know you’re better than this and hope you read this personally and take care of it yourself not a manager or management group. This is your foundation of all rib shacks. Thank you for the response to this issue. First of all no one at the church was contacted about the wreck till four hours after the time was set in place. Second the order was cancelled at 4 pm after the family had left and no one from your establishment contacted them. Mr.Ed who a lady and a gentleman from Shane’s has been in contact with. The pastor is still so embarrassed and humiliated of the circumstances. Someone needs to reach out to Ernie Dorris. He is willing to meet and sit down with the owner. He feels like the lack of communication and issues all this has caused can and needs to be corrected.

Food was horrible! This our 2nd time giving Shane's a chance. Food is cold and old. Do not eat from any of their locations . It's the same crummy Food but employees are friendly. We got the ribs, half smoked chicken, green beans, fries, okra , mac n cheese and two large peach cobblers. Nothing was good . Won't be coming back.

First the cashier was pushy for my order. But I ordered ribs.this was awful 😖 down right disgusting. Taste like boiled dry pork with a vinegar tasting bbq sauce. This is not worth your time.. and the prices are not good 😐.

Shane's has a laid-back, back home atmosphere. Unfortunately, every I've eaten here, the meat is dry and comes out luke warm or cold.
Service here could use some help. It's hit or miss if you get anyone to check on your table, and when they do, most of the servers have an attitude like they'd rather not be there (something that should be hidden from customers), and they frequently forget to bring you the sauces or to-go boxes when you ask for them.
However; the flavor is ok; I would recommend the fried ocra and peach cobbler.
Kid-friendliness: Shane's is very kid friendly and even has an enclosed play set.
Wheelchair accessibility: A wheelchair ramp is available.

Greetings! I’m sending this message to let you know I had a bad experience at your restaurant. My family and I would eat at Shane’s every other Sunday and sometimes once during the week. This is my 2nd time being served old , clumpy baked beans and the worst cold slaw I’ve ever had. I decided to take a moment and post a review to let the owner know my experience. I called back and spoke with Riley, she was extremely nice, and apologetic. She asked me to come back so she could replace it. I told her live too far , and we agreed I would bring it back the next day. I returned with the whole meal, I spoke with the Team Lead, I asked if she could replay my entire meal since I decided not to eat the ribs or the sides. She told me she could Only replace the side, she would not be able to replace the meat!!!!! She was rude and a matter of fact! I tried explaining to her that I didn’t eat any of the food. She shrugged her shoulders and said I’m sorry. I grabbed my bag and told her thank you, and you just lost a good customer. My total purchase $35.59.
