Food was decent however they left a plate out of my bag and blamed US when we came back! “You should have checked your food before you left!” Ummm, sorry we expect the professionals to do their own job. They never took accountability and not even an apology for leaving it out.

This has to be the slowest restaurant in Georgia. After ordering our food, we were told there will be a 2 hour wait on rib tips. Then we noticed they have an "all sales final" policy, so we had no choice but to come back. After waiting 30 minutes for 3 sandwiches, fries and sodas, we were only given the sandwiches and told to wait even longer for the fries and drinks. There was also another man present who said he's had to leave and come back and the food still wasn't ready. We came back 2 hours later and still had to wait another 40 minutes. Absolutely unexcusable.if you can't process orders in a timely, reasonable manner then STOP TAKING PEOPLE'S MONEY. UNETHICAL.

I should have known this was a bad idea when I walked up and the door knob was hanging off, windows were covered with hand-written signs, and the window where you place the order was so covered, I couldn't see who was taking my order....Was thoroughly disappointed as I ate my food driving home...Both boxes that our food was in were dirty and greasy like whoever had on greasy gloves were the ones that put the boxes in the bag. Our rib tips were hard to chew...Definitely overcooked! The fries tasted like they were cooked in old grease....had a bad after taste, and were brown-looking. I was so disappointed and hungry that I ended up going to Chick-fil-A as soon as I left there.

My sister and I ate here for lunch and was excited because the restaurant had good reviews and the pics appeared to look good. We were really disappointed. The fries tasted like they were cooked in old grease and had a bad after taste and the rib tips were hard to chew. The box was covered in food debris. I have attached my receipt along with a pic of the box. If I could give 0 stars I would. Don’t waste your time or money.

I am there #1 fan! I love this place. I'm from Chicago but have lived in the south for 20 years and this place brings me home. I'd live off the Italian beef if I could. What's great is I've been going so much since I found this place last month they know my order once I get to the window! The people working there are fantastic!

After getting my hair braided decided to give this place a try. I was hungry and it was close by. Called the restaurant to put in a to go order and got a recording that said "NO CALL Order, No Online Ordering etc. i walked to the shop only to find out they only take cash. Like really? In 2022. They had an ATM in store but I was not putting my card in there. Walked back to the braid shop, zelle a customer $20 and walked back to the store and order an entree. The rib tips were really good. I also paid for Fries that I never got and did not realize until I was home. I really like the BBQ sauce. I would eat there again.

I got the small ribtips old school (on fries). The meat was great and the BBQ sauce was good too. The the portions were really good and the meal was pretty inexpensive. I made it back to my hotel before I noticed the coleslaw I ordered wasn't in the bag.The staff were very nice.

I don't understand the good reviews that are listed here. This place was suggested by a co-worker but I was highly disappointed. My first trip and was told that the rib tips were the best. What I got was some decent rib meat with a healthy amount of gristle, fat and what I call cartilage. Might have been bone but too soft. Anyway, I will not be coming back and will get my bbq from Shanes where we have been satisfied. For the price and the actual amount of meat we got, I felt they cheated me.
Great bbq. I'm from Chicago and rib tips are my favorite food so this definitely gives me a taste of home. This location is a bit far for me. I wish they had a food truck or something but definitely worth the drive.

The food here was okay. I had decided to go to this spot because of the high reviews I had seen on both yelp and google and I going to be honest, they do give you a hefty amount of food for the price and the taste is there. But, I don't know if it had to do with the time I ordered my food ( maybe it was because it was 2 hours before closing), the rib tips were kinda rough. Like some pieces were harsh to chew on, but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt cause like I said the food was flavorful and plentiful. I'll give them one more try before I give my absolute verdict. But until then I can only give them 3 stars for the Rib Tips.

Coming from the food industry myself and wanting some BBQ and living on the southside of Chitown South Ellis I was truly disappointed at the offerings and availability of the place. No one answered the phone. Walked in it was cash only went to the ATM came back to find out there was NO RIBS available or HOT LINKS or white meat for chicken. Sides are only slaw and fries. It was a Friday not even after 6pm. I was truly sadden by this. Menu already says price subject to change and yes inflation is getting to all of us. Buy the ribs and chicken and let customers know price increase on a chalk board but to not completely not serve or have it and say things are expensive isn't a good look. First and last time I'd step foot here.

Ordered rib tips, Maxwell street polish and pizza puff. Food was perfect and as close to Chitown as you going to get in ATL. Prices are decent. Great Service.

My go to rib tips with a link, takes me back to Chicago Everytime. If you ever been on the Southside of Chicago and remember Leon's and want that taste, this is your spot, and with a Maxwell polish, is a little taste of Chicago I'll never miss now thanks to this place.
