Food was good, service was good. What was unexpected was at end of meal, an unexpected “service charge” of 20%. I questioned this and the server told me it’s automatic with parties of six or more! Have never had this before. So a family with two parents and four children will get hit with 20% “service charge”. This is before you decide how to tip!! This is basically tacking on a “mandatory” 20% tip — which I would at least do that amount and then some IF great service.

Went to the Smoke and Mirrors car show that is held in their parking lot and ate there. Great brisket and the mac n chz is great and comes in this tiny little skillet. Cute AND tasty!

The restaurant near Ponce is much tastier. The Mcdonough location adds too much seasoning on the brisket and turkey. I couldn't eat the turkey. Hubby tried to rub off the seasonings but that didn't work. So, he threw away most of his food.

Very nice accidental find. Heading up I75 and decided to try this place out. Interesting menu. Crying Tiger brisket was excellent and the smoked turkey was very tasty. With an appetizer it was a little pricey, but enjoyed the food.
Everything is very good. Flavors are bold and full of unique flavor.

I visited tonight from out of town and had a great time. Savannah was my server and she was great. I also had the pleasure of talking to the manager (also Savannah) they’re the best. I’ll be returning

I really wanted to like Sweet Auburn BBQ, but this was a huge disappointment—and definitely not worth the $100+ I just spent. The food took over an hour to come out, and when it finally did, most of it was just plain bad.
The macaroni was white (yes, white) and tasted like it was made with Alfredo sauce—super weird and not in a good way. The brisket was so salty it was nearly inedible, and the jerk greens were bland and underseasoned. The only saving grace were the ribs and the brussels sprouts, which were decent. But even the cornbread was dry and unpleasant.
For the price I paid, I expected way better. Never again.

This is amazing bbq. The pimento wontons are absolutely the best appetizer i have ever had. I also had a pulled pork sandwich and the pickled onions and cucumbers are spot on. The staff is amazing and so nice to talk to.

First time today. The forces are very small and is overpriced. They forgot to include utensils in my takeout order. The guy with the red hair and glasses told me that utensils are upon request only for takeout orders. This is very silly. I will never come here again.

The food is top tier, nice size portions and the atmosphere is perfection. Our waitress, Kiy, was an absolute JOY to experience! Her customer service was outstanding.
Highly recommend you visit. The egg rolls and pimento cheese wontons are AWESOME and the shrimp and grits are AMAZING and last but not least the banana pudding is the BEST!! Our server Alix took the best care of us!
