This is the second year our school’s summer program has had the joy of visiting this incredible store, and once again, the experience was nothing short of amazing. The owners—a kind and welcoming husband-and-wife duo—along with their wonderful sons, treated our scholars with such love, patience, and care. They generously allowed the students to make their own ice cream, creating moments of pure joy and excitement. We are truly grateful for the beautiful partnership between SMITH Academy of Excellence and Sweet Charlie’s. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for making our visit so special. We can’t wait to see you all again next year!

I don’t normally leave reviews, but my experience at Sweet Charlie’s was honestly disappointing. From the moment I walked in, the person at the counter was incredibly rude. No greeting, no smile, just stared at me until I said something. It wasn’t just me either; they were like that with every customer that came in. It made the whole place feel really unwelcoming. Also, the place smelled terrible definitely not what you’d expect from an ice cream shop.
To make things worse, the staff behind the counter were openly arguing with each other. It was uncomfortable to witness and made the atmosphere even more unpleasant. I came in expecting a sweet treat and instead left feeling frustrated. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Was quick and easy to receive my ice cream. It smelled a bit odd in there but you get used to it pretty quick. The little cup I got was $9.

I usually frequent here because I love the milkshakes. Today I came the health score has greatly decreased and the store smells like a landfill. The young lady who made my ice cream had great service and it’s terrible she has to work in those conditions. It was hard to stomach the smell!

Please don't go here. If there had been a zero rating I would have given Sweet Charlie's a zero. I am allergic to dairy and had read online that they had a non dairy option. Went there and the person that took our order could not have been over thirteen and her English was barely audible. They proceeded to wipe a previous dairy order off of a frozen preparation plate with what looked like a dirty wet towel. That was a no-no in my book. The dairy ice cream was still on there when my order was being prepared. The husband lost $8.50 because I refused to eat it. We walked out and went to Bruster's

We use to love sweet Charlie’s to bring our little girls to. But we recently went and it’s ran by teens. They had their phones playing the music over the speaker and it was SUPER explicit. I understand so music is explicit but this was like shocking explicit.
Decided to take my sons and nephew out for ice cream and came across this place. We received dry greetings but the boys wanted ice cream so I went ahead with my order. While making the kids orders they started arguing back and forth about who was making my order. Saying "I'm not bout to make no butter pecan" "I'm not either" Literally going back and forth in front of me like it's not my order they were arguing about. No thank you. No come again. Nothing at all! Spent $40 on ice cream with a tip to get this type of treatment. Never again!

First off, they do not have many flavors for non-dairy customers. Only "Mango, So Cal, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Oreo." They need to lower their prices on their cup sizes! The ice cream was OK, but you have to ask to put certain toppings in your bowl. The toppings advertised with a certain flavor are not always placed into the bowls.
Personally, I thought the place was very small and ghetto! The workers were not friendly and did not smile. Music with filthy language was playing. If I weren't with another person who wanted to eat here, I would have left.
