The OG of Japanese food in McDonough! The service is great, the food is always fresh and amazingly prepared with a great presentation. The cocktails are not light on the spirits, and are always on point!! I have made this my ""at least"" once a week spot.Parking: Plenty of safe and close parking.

This place was a let down.. I read the reviews and there is no way that the people who wrote the previous reviews actually ate the food. For starters.. the chef burnt the eggs for the fried rice, the rice was actually hard. The chicken had no flavor, and the chef was very messy with his plating. The couple at the hibachi table with us ordered steak, and the chef over cooked it, so they spoke with the manager about it, and nothing was done to accommodate the mishap

The food and service were not very good. Chicken was extremely hard and dry didn't eat it at all. Customer service was extremely discriminatory in my humble opinion. Will never go back here. Wouldn't have tipped but it's 18% mandatory added on every bill no matter how many are in party. We only had two!

I ate here for the first time with my best friend and her daughter for Valentines. It was crazy busy but the staff was amazing and held it together very well. The staff and chefs made it well worth the wait time. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I’ll definitely be revising this place in the future. To the staff.. Thank you for all your amazing hard work on a night of the year I’m sure is most stressful? You did great and made it through.

We were in town for a robotics competition and the boys love a new sushi house. We stopped in and was very delighted to hear that they had a great menu for sushi bar and we pretty much got just about everything. The sashimi was still super cold and fresh and the order for an extra large bowl of miso soup with spectacular to look at and tasted great. The chef and the waiter took good care of us but it was a little smoky due to the hibachi tables surrounding us at the bar. Added it as a favorite to my Google maps and when in the area plan on returning. ?
Very friendly people! The food (Hibachi and Sushi ?) was fantastic!! Well-cooked and followed directions!! From the time we walked into the restaurant, we were seated immediately. The waitress, Madison, and the chef were very accommodating!!The prices are very affordable!! Great drinks, food and service!! Even their customers were very friendly!!!! 5/5

I’ve been here one other time and had the Atombic Bomb II sushi roll and IMMEDIATELY after I left my stomach was in shambles, initially i blamed it on me also drinking a couple cocktails with the sushi. I went back today and had the chicken hibachi and the tiger roll and AGAIN my stomach is in shambles lol. It has to be that the seafood isn’t fresh because I eat sushi all the time and never had this problem but always happens to me here. They also have a 18% gratuity change and a 3% credit card fee???? I was sitting alone at the bar…. 3/10 do not recommend

It was my first time here at this establishment with my family...we was greeted with a warm welcome and was seated immediately...it was a cool laid back atmosphere...the chef & hostess was on point...I ordered the chicken & shrimp combination and it was delicious....the bathrooms was also clean as well and that's a major plus...we will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu....
