the food is well-seasoned, the staff is friendly, and the service was quick. the sunday special was a meat (chicken or meatloaf), two sides, a dessert, and a drink for $12. chicken is juicy, hot, fresh, and crispy. i had the yellow rice and lima beans. the rice was different than i expected -- in a soupy creamy sauce -- but it was very well-seasoned and not mushy at all. i actually really liked it. lima beans were proper, country style lima beans: cooked until beige with some...

Best food in town, hands down..I’ve not had anything come from in their kitchen that wasn’t good. The key lime cake is the best cake Ive ever eaten. It’s nice to go somewhere that serves food with some flavor!! Mrs. Tina and her crew are all nice and their food is even better..definitely my go-to when I’m in McRae..
