No wine or beer served, and at these high prices, people might like to have a glass of wine to take the sting off of the fact that they are grossly overpaying for the food on offer. While the setting is attractive, paying $35 for an underwhelming filet (misspelled on the menu!) sucks your enjoyment right out of a pretty setting. Filet mignon at the Fort Payne Santa Fe is ten times better and of higher quality than this one! Appetizer Redneck nachos was an oozy, gooey, sloppy mish-mash of a dish. Yuck. Wild caught salmon filet tasted like a frozen-defrosted piece of salmon that was "wild caught" in a salmon farm pond. Pork pot roast was okay, but sorely lacking in any accompanying vegetables. Don't describe this dish as coming with vegetables if you're only going to put 3 -yes 3- pieces of veg on the plate. Ziti with chicken (overcooked and dry) was bland and boring, with the ziti heavy and undercooked. Don't order the tasteless creamed corn. Horrible thing to do to a can of corn. For $12 you can get unlimited trips to the small salad bar, but there never was more than a couple spoonfuls of lettuce in the bowl, and the salad dressings were questionably homemade and certainly not very impressive. Also, two of the salad bar utensils were sticky and should have been replaced, but never were. Choice of background music was pathetic - commercial radio station?? Average small-ish shrimp tacos on soggy tortillas for almost $20? At these prices I don't expect to be bombarded by a radio station! Change your music, people! Too expensive a restaurant to be sorely underwhelmed. We were all so discouraged by our appetizers and entrees, we didn't want to take a chance on any desserts, so didn't try them.

Great little place to get homemade country cooking. Sunday has a buffet all you can eat and it is awesome!! Great desserts and good options.

This is a great southern buffet. The crab tomato bisque was especially good. The owner is a saint. You dying here and you invest in the kingdom.

Recent health inspection published in the Nov. 28, 2019 Summerville News reported a score of 88. (Out of 100). Alarming by itself, of course, but when you read an employee was observed handling food with a bandaged cut without wearing a glove or impermeable covering, that's just gross. Wish I'd known that BEFORE I went. As for ambiance, the Chef-owner has the loudest voice I've ever heard, he yells instead of talking. I could hear him using his outdoor voice all the way across to the far end of the restaurant. He really needs to stay in the kitchen, although one could still hear him in there, even with the kitchen door closed. It's an attractive restaurant, although lighting in the large room is a bit garish. But why play a Christian gospel radio station for background music? Very unprofessional choice of "music." I took 5 business associates here for dinner, two of which found the choice of radio station insulting and offensive, as they were of other faiths. Some classical music would be much more appropriate in a restaurant at this price point, not a radio station! I will not entertain any more businessmen at this venue just for that reason alone. Food was okay, but some dishes were just plain strange. To serve chicken Marsala over large ziti noodles ruined that dish. Picture eating noodles with brown gravy. One companion ordered the steak, which was okay, but overcooked and served with a barely lukewarm baked potato. The squash casserole was most unappetizing, also barely lukewarm. The only place this restaurant shines was with the house-made desserts, which were very good, but I don't take people out for dinner for the desserts. My suggestion: there are much better restaurants just down the road in Mentone. For the prices charged at this restaurant, it should operate at a higher level of professionalism.

The Thanksgiving buffet was really nice. Great food all around, didn't have one thing that I didn't like. The owners/staff were all really nice. Nice place, check it out.

We’ve only been there on a Sunday. The buffet is incredible! Absolute best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had. Also, best omelet I’ve ever had. Good variety of tasty options, and don’t even get me started on those luscious desserts! Can’t wait to get back down there. :)

A Cloudland, Georgia joy of culinary goodness. The food I enjoyed was truly great and there was plenty of it. Highly recommend a visit for a really great meal at excellent prices and the staff is wonderful. There is a great buffet available on weekends that is a must do.

Everyone is so friendly and the food is delicious! My very picky 9 year old loved the buffet and passed on dessert for extra meat and vegetables!!!

four of us all found the food to be barely edibly. The rib eye was very thin, the squash casserole tasted sweet and the cream corn was tasteless. The staff seemed to be arguing among themselves. The only redeeming feature was the salad bar.

We have started going to the sunday buffett from 11 am to 3 pm. Chuck is the nicest owner you will meet. I have never seen anyone meet you at the door and treat you so good. You good not get better service. They have an awesome salad bar. The steam table had to name a few bbq pork ribs, roast beef, fried catfish, low country boil, sweet potato casserole, and more. They had fresh rolls and my favorite mexican cornbread. The desserts were awesome . I cant say enough about this place. It is only open Thursday through Sunday. It is a little pricey except on Sunday . 15 a piece for all you can eat. It is at the intersection of Highway 157 and 48 in Cloudland Ga
