Food was just not right. Miso soup was like warm and more like chicken broth in a bad way. Nigiri served on hot rice which just didn’t make sense and made the fish warm. I can’t recommend.

You must be very assertive to get service at this restaurant. The server does not come to the table or offer to refill drinks during the meal. The sushi we ordered was good, but the dessert was a hard frozen lump of cheesecake that looked nothing like the photo in the menu. It was impossible to cut through because it was so frozen. When we brought it up, the chef was very rude and insisted that no restaurant, including McDonalds, has photos that match what is actually served. This was our favorite sushi restaurant, but after the horrible service and insulting staff, we will not be coming back.
edit: This chef lied in his follow up comment saying that we were offered refills and tissue. In reality, the waitress never returned to our table without me flagging her down and nothing was ever offered without being specifically requested. I doubt she ever even noticed our empty drinks, because the other tables with customers also had empty drinks and nobody coming to refill them. We were each given one small napkin at the beginning of the meal and I had to ask for extras to deal with the cheesecake mess, at which point she brought exactly one more napkin. Are napkins to expensive to give to your customers? Most places would also try to make it right or offer a different dish if one was unsatisfactory, they also failed to do this and chose to insult us instead. Other customers came to our table afterwards to say how appalling the chef’s attitude towards us had been after witnessing the situation.

I never eat at restaurants below a 4.3 but glad I didn’t see this rating before I sat down because it’s quite inaccurate! I’m a foody and sushi is in my top 3 categories of frequented restaurants. The sushi was great and the prices are exceptional. It’s a family run restaurant and the atmosphere is just that. It’s not a chic, boutique sushi restaurant which is why the prices are very reasonable. If you want good no frills sushi this is your place!
Most complaints and 1 star ratings are coming from size of sushi on $1 sushi night. People….it’s $1 sushi!!!

My husband and I got the bento box. He got steak and I got chicken. The food not only looked nice when it was presented but it tasted great! The chicken and vegetables were delicious. My husband enjoyed his steak. The bento box also came with California rolls which were yummy! It was quiet inside and we were one of the few people eating at the time. The service was quick and everyone was pleasant. We will definitely be going back!

Ordered on DoorDash and noticed a moving parasite in my food. Disgusted.

They have excellent quality fish here. It’s so fresh and a very high grade. Service is excellent and it’s wonderful to support a small family owned business! Tokyo is our go to for sushi every time.

It’s such a shame! Placed an order and sat there for 45 mins waiting on it. It was 2 rolls and some fried appitizers. Paid $10 for a tempura appetizer that didn’t even come with veggies.

They have a dollar nigiri special on Sundays and Mondays! The rolls are a bit more, but definitely worth it. It’s a nice, small restaurant, and you get what you pay for. My personal favorite is the spicy salmon rolls—as you can tell from the photos. Definitely a great place to om nom

Someone said humble and that's the most accurate description. Service is decent but comes directly from the family who owns the restaurant. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Portions are standard for Japanese restaurants. Highly recommend and will definitely return.
Kid-friendliness: Yes. Kids menu is pretty standard.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.

This is a humble restaurant that I truly adore. The sushi is AMAZING and please do not leave bad reviews due to the service, they are authentic cooks, so they speak little English but serve from their hearts, and you won’t get nothing less than authentic Japanese cuisine. I love the atmosphere and their Lunch prices. Fully recommended, it’s a blessing to have these dishes for lunch.
