Worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. Staff was friendly, but food tasted like it came from a microwave frozen meal.

I found this fabulous restaurant by accident, before its new sign was installed, immediately on entry I met Hostess, Anna, daughter of the cheif and co-owner. The decoration and food are both authentic and traditional Chinese. The portions are more than generous and delicious. In the past six weeks this has become my exclusive go-to eatery. Several new places have opened in Monroe (Walton County) and Da Peng is far and away the very best Chinese Restaurant in Walton County. It is well worth a trip even from downtown Atlanta 50 minutes away. In these still early days no reservations are needed but I predict as word gets out there will be a need for a reservation.

I have with guests now brought and greatly enjoyed more than ten of their dishes, each has been excellent. Tender beef, juicy chicken even under the crusty breaded wings, the stuffing inside their deep fried Rangoon Crab, the vegetables are always fresh and crunchy yet soft! Mongolian Beef is beyond belief, even Orange Beef custom ordered off the menu, Hot and Sour soup is a must on every stop on each of my now many take-out orders ( I always get the large version version that is still flavorful on microwave re heating days later. Please give Da Peng a try and say hello to Anna.

New owners with authentic Cantonese beef chow fun noodles. Large portions for the lunch menu. Sweet & sour pork was crispy & fresh. Shrimp w/vegetables was very good. Looking forward to more authentic dishes! I hope they start making wonton noodle soup for the winter & add bubble tea for take out.

Vegetarian options: They can make any of their dishes with tofu, just ask.

I've been to multiple Chinese restaurants around the monroe/loganville area and this is by far the best one I have eaten at. I honestly prefer this restaurant to the others around this area. The food is amazing. I have dinned in and have gotten carry out. Not alot of people dine in and I'm not sure why, it is very clean. But to each their own. Whatever you prefer the food is good and I would reccomend this place.

My son n I ate there today. (Sat) The service was friendly n great. The food was over the top. I ordered sesame chicken, egg roll, wonton soup. My son ordered pork veggies, egg roll n egg drop soup. All selicious. We will be back

Got the Mongolian beef, the beef was tough wasn't good. First time trying this place since new ownership took place. Was not pleased at all. Would not have been bad if the Mongolian beef was more tender and not so chewy. Don't think we be back.

Delicious and a lot of food!!!I have eaten here twice the first time I had the sesame chicken and it was delicious. Today I got the orange chicken and I really loved it also!! The lunch speacial includes a drink, soup and an egg roll with your meal. It is definitely enough food for a few more meals.

Da Peng was so good! I had the shrimp and vegetables it was hot and fresh and enough for 3 meals. Egg roll and soup included ! $9.99 for all of this and your drink. In and out in 35 minutes so it’s great for a quick lunch.

Waited 1 20min. I live 7 minutes away. Driver couldn't find me. How hard is to find troy smith? Lied and said they gave to a man. Couldn't give address. Won't be supporting these new owners. Best wishes to you!

Wings were horrible over breaded and pink inside.

From what I understand this place has re-opened as Da-Peng and while I never went there when it was under the previous ownership, I can say that its awesome currently. Don't the the decor scare you away (just a little plain for now). I always get Sesame Chicken with extra sauce, Veggie egg rolls and hot and sour soup. Not once has it been bad. Also they are cheaper than Oriental Garden!!! I def say help support these nice people who can certainly cook up a storm! :)
