The burger was great. The Mac and cheese was definitely not. The women handing out food had an attitude problem, and because of that we will not be back or recommend. Attitude is everything.

The building is inside of the grocery store. I would have never known it existed if it wasn't on Google maps.
The store is small and has a funky smell. it smelled like rotting meat. (Appeared to be an issue with market actively being repaired). The restaurant itself was situated behind the cash registers.
When walking up, the menu is clearly on the right on the wall beside the register. It is not a comfortable place or somewhere to really sit down and enjoy a meal with a family.
We ordered the blacked chicken salad and the mushroom burger. Self serve condiments and drinks.
The food was made fresh, it was delicious.
The food needs to be in a 5 star restaurant somewhere else. This was the best food I've found in Monroe after trying every top rated place in town.
The ordering process involves waiting in line, paying, then taking the number. It's brought to your table with almost 0 interaction with staff.
Put these chefs with a good restaurant with nice sit down tables and a friendly hostess and waiters. It will easily be the #1 place in Monroe
The flavors of the food are spot on. The fries perfectly crispy. The burger cooked perfect and moist. The blacked chicken salad was full of flavor not overcooked, freshlyade, with crispy bacon. I had the balsamic dressing and need to know which brand they use (or the recipe to make it).
We will be returning to try the reuben sandwich and the pulled pork nachos in the near future.

Never disappointed! Service, prices, and food keep ke coming back for more.
Nestled in Johns Supermarket in Monroe, this hidden gem offers a variety of food. My favorite are the brussel sprouts with balsamic with a mill village wrap...and the tenders are always a good bet!!
As long as you're there during off peak times, plenty if parking is available but the lot can get a little tight as it fills up.

If you're in the city of Monroe and you like that home cooked, feel, this is the place to go. The the cost I would say is fair.
Food is absolutely wonderful! Burgers are one the best I’ve ever eaten! Rueben’s were also great. Fresh, hot fries seasoned perfectly. Definitely recommended….

Excellent little hiding gem!! We went for the first time the other day after reading google reviews and had to go back again today! So yummy and tasty and great prices for what you get. Service is fantastic!! Everyone was so nice and they were laughing which means happy employees which means better food. I got the crispy chicken salad both times(bc it's awesomeness), and my husband had a burger(delish) and the Yard Bird(freaking amazing!!). If you haven't gone yet, DO IT!! YOU WILL THANK ME!!!

While visiting Georgia, it's neccessary to eat southern comfort food. A family member suggested this joint. She heard great things about them so we had to come try it out.
It's neat that this restaurant is located in an old local grocery store. We made our way to the restaurant portion of the store. There's a huge display case of hot food and a big menu board to check out. There was so much on the menu board, I didn't know what to get. I noticed they had daily specials. I opted for the daily special. It was a great way to be able go get a little of everything. I wanted to try it all!
I really wanted the baked chicken but there was a lot going on on top of the chicken. The seasoning looked overwhelming so I decided to get the chicken tenders. For my sides I got fried brussel sprouts, collard greens and grilled zucchini/squash. My husband got the club sandwich with a side of mac and cheese.
My fried brussel sprouts were so good! Fried perfectly and salty. It came with a good balsamic dip. The collard greens were tender. The grilled zucchini and squash mix was tasty! My chicken tenders were kinda dry. I really wanted to like them since it was the main dish but I couldn't. I had a bite of my husband's sammy and it was so good! I love the toasted sourdough bread they used. The turkey and ham was good as well. I didn't get a chance to try the mac and cheese. All of it was eaten before I could even get a bite.
Overall, service was ok. The gal at the register seemed annoyed when we were asking her questions about the menu and the food they offered. Even when I asked her for a to go box, she seemed bothered. It's in your job description to help people. I find it humorous when people act like that in the food industry.
I know we will be in Monroe a couple more times before we travel back home. I do want to come back and try a couple more things. The fried chicken looked so good in the hot case. Hopefully my next experience will be with someone who actually wants to help their guests.

This place represents itself as a restaurant. It is not! It is a supermarket deli just like you would find in Walmart.

I always love stopping here when i visit through this town. I love the prices and selection of items in the grocery department especially the meats. This particular time i tried the beignets and they were delicious. The staff was very polite and helpful.
