so goood! this is an order at the register style place, you go and get your drink from the soda machine, you sit and they bring out your food & then you clean your table after yourself.

Had two people in the same day recommend this place and recommended that I get the burger. Therefore…I got the burger and a side of mac & cheese. The burger was well cooked with fresh toppings and extremely juicy with a flaky soft bun. The mac & cheese was baked fresh and soft. Presentation was professional and clean as well. I also got a cookies and cream cookie for dessert and had it heated up. Highly recommend this place and highly recommend the burger! Awesome experience, super nice staff, and cannot wait to come back. Thanks!

Monroe's best kept secret? I think so !!! The staff is delightful (especially Sami) and the burgers are far above the rest !! My meal was absolutely perfect in every way ! The burgers are perfect in size and won't leave you searching for beef ! I am pleasantly surprised by this little hidden gem ! I had the Tony Burger and it is one of the BEST burgers I have ever had ! The meat was juicy, delicious, flavorful in itself and grilled to perfection. The perfectly balanced rosemary garlic aioli is truly one of the best experiences my tastebuds have had in awhile and is a delightful addition to an already tasty burger. Perfectly melted havarti added buttery goeyness to elevate this happy infusion of flavors even higher. The choice of bun perfectly paired to hold everything together to make an extraordinary flavorful experience.I have returned a second time already and plan to time and again ! This is one of the best, if not the best, places to eat in Georgia. They don't disappoint. If you are looking for the ultimate burger, this is the place to go !

I am writing this review a month later but I am happy to write this.
I placed an order for catering with bistro south for my daughter’s first birthday since we were celebrating at such a close location. Unfortunately, the day of her birthday we had cancel due to an emergency and could NOT drive out to Monroe to pick up the order. Since the order was already made, of course we were not going to leave all that food for them to waste so we still went ahead with our purchase and had intentions of picking it up the next day.. (hoping they could freeze it for us)
I do believe Monroe is 40 minutes from where we are located and couldn’t afford the time of the drive that day. It’s completely out of the way. I really wish I could remember who I spoke to on the phone… I think it was the owner or manager himself. Anyways, he offered to drive our food out to our home address so we can enjoy! And he did. He made it happen. Such an act of kindness really did make a huge impact on our circumstances we were dealing with at the time. And we were able to enjoy a delicious dinner.. no stress.
I would recommend bistro south to anyone and everyone. Not only is the food delicious, but the employees are fabulous and have heart of gold. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you again for helping us out.

It’s good food…if you can get it. They are CONSTANTLY out of food. “I’d like the meatloaf.” “Sorry, we’re out.” “I’d like two sides of mac & cheese.” “We only have enough for one.” It’s every single time you go, and it’s half the menu. They are always out of something. When at least half of your party can’t get the food they want, it’s frustrating. And it’s not like we’re going at a weird time. It’s 12:30 on a Sunday afternoon. You’re in a grocery store!!! Go buy more food and cook it!
