Service was not that good she didn't know what a dozen oysters was .had to explain 12 is a dozen then ,I can back and said I wanted The 5 shrimp deal with it .I said let me pay you and she no I'll get them cause I didn't ask if you wanted them with your meal .never got the shrimp .she was propped on counter up front in the phone so sad to say I never got my shrimp. Oysters were good .

I have probably been to 50 Captain D's in my life it is by far is the second best I've ever been to very clean very friendly staff and the food was excellent I really appreciate the customer service that I received as well.

Mom loves the whitefish. The new lobster bisque is fantastic.
We did take out. I ordered fish strips and got shrimp and fish. The meal was good anyway.

Vegetarian options: Had the fried okra which I thought was a side that came with a two piece fish meal only to find out IT WAS A EXTRA CHARGE FOR OKRA, SO I WAS SPENDING ALMOST $10.00 FOR A TWO PIECE FISH ORDER WHICH WAS COLESLAW HUSH PUPPIES, I AND EXTRA CHARGE FOR OKRA WHICH IS QUITE PRICEY FOR THAT MEAL HOWEVER I DID HAVE COUPON FOR 6.99 WHICH STILL BROUGHT THE PRICE UP TO 8.56 BUT WE ALL KNOW EVERYTHING HAS GONE UP ?

Honestly haven’t been to Captain Ds in over a year. BOY was I surprised! Food was fresh, the service was friendly, and this visit put Captain Ds back on the fast food radar for me. Incredible.

I ordered from Doordash from a place called “Catfish Kitchen” and received my food from Captain D’s. Due to the all that they used to fry their food and I cannot eat Captain D’s food. I feel like this is false advertisement and I plan on reporting this. The food was not all that good. Very small portions for the $18 that I spent.
