Good and bad.
The good-Wings were great. Service was great.
The bad-Chicken tenders were very dark and didn’t taste very good.Almost tasted like it was cooked in old oil or just really overcooked. Also we had a discount card from the Boy Scouts that has various businesses that you can get a certain discount. 10% for this place. We showed the waitress the card and she had to get the manager. The manager took the card. When she brought it back. She had took a black marker and marked through it so that it could not be used again. She never said a word. No where on it does it say it was a one time use. We have used some of the other ones multiple times with no issues. They obviously are not loosing a lot on these cards as it was obvious that neither had ever seen the card before. They should have placed one time use on the card. The manager should have said something about marking it out. The card was what made us decide to go there. Not sure if we will go back.

I'm a huge fan of the Local Republic family of restaurants, with Strange Taco being the absolute favorite. So you can understand the disappointment when I show up to Strange Taco, but it's now a wing place. And a poor one at that. The menu is just bar food, trying to please everyone except for those who actually enjoyed the original taco place that used to be here. Service was extremely slow - we waited at least 45 minutes for our food after ordering. I will not return! I'm just hoping that they keep Strange Taco in Lawrenceville!

This place had great wings the first time my wife and I ate there. Food was slow coming out but not a problem. Went there tonight to get some more wings and sat for 30 minutes without a single waitress asking to for our drink order. So we left. It's a shame because they do have good wings but I'm not paying good money for slack service.

I’ve given this place so many chances and now I’ve realized there is no helping them. The wings consistently have zero flavor no matter which flavor you get. Jalepeno ranch wings looked and tasted naked. Garlic parm had tons of garlic and parm but again, tasted naked. Not to mention we ordered here once through Toast, everything went through—went to pick up the wings and they were closed even though website said open. One time we received the wrong order and after multiple attempts, it’s never been good or consistent. Don’t waste your time. Also $16 for a heated up pretzel?

I've been here probably half a dozen times now. I love the food, the wings are well done and all the sauces are great. I'm a fan of the Biffs Sweet and Jalapeño Ranch. I've had friends have the flat bread, pretzel, tacos, cheese curds, fries, just about everything. And always happy with the food! The service is fair, I don't see the same face often so I assume that the staff is newer.

We did take out once, that was a mistake. The food took an extra 35 minutes, the food wasn't as coated in sauce, and all just thrown together. Still tasted great but not timely. And the staff seem annoyed that I was there (easily could have just been a stressful Friday night)

I suggest it when people ask!

Have frequented Local Republic in Lawrenceville many times, made a trip specifically from Dacula to Monroe to check out their other spots like High Voltage. Staff were pleasant but the fish and chips was not up to standards - the type of fish did not hold well with the breading and was flaking before I could eat it. Would love to see them use a different fish and/or breading process to bring it up a notch!

We have only ordered take out.The first time the wings were great, fried extra crispy and perfectly cooked to order. We had found our new wing spot.Second time same order, wings were under cooked and slimy. Needed 10 minutes plus in the air frier when we got them home so they were edible. Also the staff seemed like they'd all smoked a huge bowl before I picked up my order. No greeting, dead eyed, mumbling. Management needs to tighten things upBc of my first experience I give it a 3 still but really disappointed in our second trip there.
