We used the “join waitlist” feature on their website and was told 16-20 mins. We showed up with a couple minutes to spare and checked in with the hostess, then asked for a wait time as she was handing the pager. She said 20-25 additional minutes, the same time she told the couple in front of us who didn’t check in online. So what is the point of this feature, to set an incorrect expectation?

The steak was perfectly cooked. The steamed broccoli was great. The chicken tenders were good. Still the best ranch dressing anywhere.

The food was great .Service was the worst . ABBY was really rude never checked if we needed more refills , didn’t pick up the plates , she didn’t even check if we got our food . I had to go up to the bar and ask for sauces for our food.

We had a great experience at the Longhorn in Monroe. Kat was our server and surpassed all expectations for great service. She really is keeping the lights on!

We love Dallas! We sit in her section any chance we get. We come here often and mostly get great service but the food is always good!

Love this place! However, the waitress we had today was very rude. We sat down and waited about 5 minutes for service. No problem, except when we finally got service, We told the waitress we were ready to order as well. The person I was with ordered her drink and then interrupted them to ask me what I wanted to drink. No problem, I waited to order my drink to allow them to order their food, and then we're met with attitude. I understand that the service industry is hard, and you have to hustle to survive. But it's not hard to be nice.

Disappointed with the Chicken Tenders

I’ve ordered the Chicken Finger Plate from Longhorn multiple times, and they are usually really big and juicy and flavorful. However, my Togo order was extremely disappointing. Instead of the usual juicy, high-quality chicken tenders, I received what looked more like chicken nuggets—mostly breading with very little actual chicken. They were dry, over-breaded, and nothing like what I’ve come to expect. For the price, I expect better quality and consistency. Very frustrating experience, and I hope they improve this in the future. If I wanted chicken nuggets, I would’ve went across the street to McDonald’s and paid a third of the price.

This place has went downhill…so sad as a local resident. The burgers are better than the steak something is wrong. What did they do. The cuts are trash!!!

Long Horns is a chain steak house that I visit from time to time. Although it seemed very busy with multiple groups of 12 or larger, there were several tables empty. This seemed like a staffing issue but that would only be a guess. I ordered the grilled Shrimp with Peppers as a main course even though it was a starter and French onion soup. Both turned out quite good. Our waiter was top notch. Sadly I can't remember his name. With the large crowds it was very noisy. Having a conversation with my associate was difficult at best. So, not the place I would recommend for an intimate dinner.

We order takeout here atleast once a week and I kid you not, every single order is missing something. Sometimes it’s a soup, sometimes it’s a side, sometimes it’s a dessert. I live 15 minutes away so I don’t ever call to go back and get what’s missing because honestly, I shouldn’t have to. After I picked up my order tonight I realized we were missing yet again, two sides. So I finally decided to call and speak to a manager because at this point it’s just getting annoying. I waited on hold for 20 minutes and kept getting transferred back to the same person who told me they were super busy. I think we’re going to take a break from this establishment.

Look, I think this longhorns done in service is fine. But the take-out is consistently disappointing. I don't know that I have ever been able to pull up, check in via the text, and get my food. Every time, I have to call and then ultimately go in and get it. I have never arrived and gotten my order without waiting to 30-45mins AFTER the time I set for pick up. Its infuriating and entirely contrary to the purpose of having a take-out you can schedule.

Steak was not done as requested, baked potato was hard, waitress was indifferent. Probably will not go back. Too expensive for mediocre experience. They also need to dial back the volume on the twangy country music. That doesn't enhance anyone's experience!
