Best Japanese food in Monroe, GA. A simple drive thru with a simple menu with very affordable prices. Me and my wife eat here at least once a week. Teriyaki chicken and shrimp is amazing.......REVISED..... This is not the same food as before. Teriyaki they used ruined the food. Was clumpy and disgusting. Chicken was old and hard. Idk if they owner is overseas or nit buy when he isn't there don't go there. I'd specifically ask if he's there b4 you order.
Love the Scallops and Broccoli dinner here. My daughter and I always split it because they give so much food. The scallops were Huge, which is how I like them! There is no way I could buy 10 jumbo scallops for the price of the meal itself ($12.95). They have other offerings and combos as well. Only thing I don't like is they are only drive thru now. However, the food is so good and reasonably priced, I will happily eat in my car.

Lots left to be desired at Saki Express. First, the indoor being closed was a bit of a let down. Had read raving reviews from when it was open! Second, the setup for the drive thru is pretty odd. Thank goodness it wasn’t busy today. Lastly, and most importantly, the food….bland is probably where I would start? The Hibachi Chicken appeared to be chopped boiled chicken on top of a bed of rice. No seasonings to be seen for miles. Disappointed in that! I’ll give it another shot, but will have to try something else on the menu. Positive! The person at the window was nice & the Yum Yum sauce is actually pretty solid!

I call ahead because they're not fast food they're made to order and I was going thru the drive thru.I order 6 egg rolls they were ready when I got there and it was piping hot and oh so good.Customer service a little lack luster but the egg rolls are good.
Not authentic food at all, cheap quick worse than kroger warm sushi. Windows are closed, making it really dark and grimy and the service is subpar at best. If your ok with Americanized sushi and asian food you'll be fine here i guess, but if ur looking for anything half decent this place is not it.

I've been visiting Sake Express since 1997 the food has changed and the atmosphere has changed as well. You used to can dine in. They had a large fish tank and it was beautiful. But of course we all know nothing never stays the same anymore. I really don't have anything good or bad to say about this restaurant. Just it is Eatable if you're hungry.
