Cute bbq joint. I had the pulled pork plate with Brunswick stew and baked beans. Everything was excellent. The Brunswick stew is amazing! My friend had the 2 meat combo with brisket and ribs. We both thought the brisket was excellent, but he said the ribs were dry (I didn’t try the ribs). We both wanted fried okra, but they were out of it. The service was excellent, and everything seemed clean, and well maintained. Would recommend.
The place is clean & cute. The server was nice, but the food may be average at best. The brisket had a very smokey taste but no real flavor. The turkey had good flavor but was very dry. The Mac & Cheese was oily & the cheese was clumpy, (not smooth) but no seasoning to it (no salt, pepper, etc). The fried okra was extremely greasy. I decided Saturday to go in and have lunch here and I sure did enjoy it! I was served by a sweet girl named Miranda and she took amazing care of me! My drink was never empty and she made sure I was fully satisfied with my experience! I ordered the Chicken Tender salad and it was delicious! A nice size portion and great flavor!
