I don’t know how this location is on the lower end of ratings. Lunch rush here is in fact a busy time but that’s normal. It gets busy and you have everyone doing their job as fast as possible while at the same time, trying to remain accurate with orders and requests. Amber, Michelle, Kristine, Chris, and Austin are my favorite people here. They always and I mean ALWAYS greet me, they always check on my family and I; they are top tier. I always get fresh food. I can’t recall the name of the back of house manager but she absolutely runs it fantastically back there. I hardly see any of the employees frustrated with each other. The employees come by and offer to clean your table and take your trash for you. Diego runs a tight ship with his managers and he’s doing good at it. Seriously, if there’s ever any issues, any of the people I listed above WILL 100% listen to you and better your experience.

Manager Chris Varner is absolutely the best manager Monroe has ever had. He’s respectful and a genuine person. Definitely my favorite Zaxbys to eat at. I even go out of my way all the way from winder ga to eat here that’s 30 minutes away!!!!

Went there last night for dinner and placed a mobile order before heading up there thinking I’d beat the line. Got there and my food still wasn’t ready. I waited about 45 minutes, periodically asking for my food and watching as the drive thru moved fast and people who ordered in house moved fast, yet I was still waiting (a bunch of other mobile orders were also waiting with me). I eventually asked for a refund and my order cancelled to which the lady at the counter says,”Oh, your food has actually been sitting behind the counter, here you go.” They had a pile of pickup orders behind the counter which they weren’t sitting on the giant shelf that says “mobile pick up”. Mine had been sitting there for so long that the food was cold and the ice in my drink was completely melted. It took me asking for a refund (again, this was after 45 minutes of waiting on food that was already done) before I got my food. Customer service also sucked btw, the cashier was nice, but genuinely just lacked in customer service skills and so did the rest of the staff.

i understand the hours of 11-2 may be busy because i’ve worked customer service jobs before too; i understand what a lunch rush is. but it doesn’t matter if i have a mobile order or not, or if I come at 11AM or 2PM. my food being made & the drive thru service ALWAYS take at least 15-20 minutes. it is absurd to have to wait in line that long EVERY time i come here, especially for a mobile order. with limited time, i can’t be sitting in a drive thru through my short lunch break. there is nothing “fast” about this fast food! the way they handle every rush is ridiculous. i get to the window and they ask me multiple different names that aren’t mine, and search through bags of food for my order. you’d think it would be sitting there ready and labeled by the time i get to the window if i'm sitting here waiting 20 minutes for something ordered 35 minutes ago! i was hoping to see improvement with the remodel but i unfortunately have not.

UPDATE: after 20+ minutes in line and much confusion between the employees, i got my mobile order. they asked me the wrong name, and then gave me SODA in my cup that they WROTE “swt tea” on!!! i’m not mad about a sweet tea, i’m mad because how in the world do you even manage to do that?? how are you gonna label the cup for sweet tea, and still put coke in there and give it to me? and they didn’t even give me a dang straw. come on now. this place needs another remodel, but internally. i’m talking training, new managers, etc. maybe corporate will come during lunch time one day and get the wrong drink (although the cup is labeled correctly) and NO STRAW after waiting for 20 minutes for a salad🙄

Zaxby’s in Monroe was amazing today. I don’t eat fast food much anymore because of food quality, poor service and prices being so high. However, today we decided to get a quick bite to eat there while we were out and about. After we ordered our food, within literal minutes, our food was brought our table. It was piping hot and fresh. Everything was delicious AND they don’t charge for extra sauces like others do these days. The employees were friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Yes, the portion of fries were small (I’ve heard that from others) but I really didn’t need all those extra fries anyway. And for an added bonus, they have mouthwash in the bathroom. 🫶

This place only getting five stars out of me because of Michelle. My order was incorrect, but it wasn’t on her shift. But she made sure I was satisfied. She made it fresh and gave me ZERO hassle. She is very respectful and down to earth. I pray I come on her shift everytime. I’m a regular here and everytime I come Avery is so sweet. She always make me feel like she actually wants to be there. They are the perfect duo. Hope to see them at my next visit

Rudest experience I’ve ever had at Zaxbys. It’s usually always very pleasant to dine here, but tonight the staff working were so unfriendly. No one greeted me, some young guy walked from behind the counter and almost bumped into me. I tell the old lady at the counter I had a pickup order and she just started at me like I was an idiot. No greeting no response, nothing. Rude. To be so pretty since the remodel i probably won’t be back here.

Katrina took the rating from about 3 stars to 5 stars. The store was very busy during our visit. We Ordered online and when I went to the counter she acknowledged me and gave me our drink cups in advance of getting our food. We then got our food and one order was wrong. When I went back to the counter, again she was the only employee that would acknowledge me waiting. She took care of the issue quickly and in a positive manner. She is definitely an asset to Zaxby's.
