Came here, figuring to get a good cup of coffee and lunch. Was vey disappointed at lunch. Hand and cheese on a croissant with one thin piece of ham ☹️

I would recommend for you guys to either open at 7am so highschoolers and people commuting to work can get a morning coffee, or close later so people getting out of school and work can come by. Im really disappointed in your hours and wish you would consider changing them.

Friendly helpful service by Bella, cozy atmosphere, and fantastic drinks. Highly suggest the iced s'more latte, americano, and dirty chai!

The Vanilla Bean in Monticello is an “always stop” location on our way to Lake Sinclair in Milledgeville. Very cozy and quiet.

Not only is it a great coffee shop they serve a very good breakfast as well! My particular favorite is “The Scott’s Special”. Two egg omelets, hash browns and a choice of a meat.

We were told that it’s named after a gentleman named Scott who came in the shop and always ordered the same dish every time, and I can see why, it’s excellent!

We enjoyed it with a piping hot caffeinated beverage as well, black coffee. Paying homage to “Adam the Woo” on Youtube with that one. When you’re in Monticello stop by and give it a try!

Enjoy!

I would not say I do not recommend this place but my experience was fore sure one to remember and not for something good. Sweet young lady working the register was nice but the young men working are not very attentive to their customers. I placed our order and to support these young workers I tipped 25% against my own belief about tipping ahead of service you have not received yet. 4 other customers come in a receive their coffee drinks before I even receive a sweet tea. Food comes out half of it missing and have to ask for it. No silverware and when asked for that it seemed to be a problem. I strongly believe we had a bad experience because the workers had 2-3 friends hanging out on the counter and they were focused on them instead of paying customers. This place can obviously be good by the reviews but on a Saturday morning with no managing not so much.

Visit friends in GA and came to this place to eat. The food was delicious. Tasted like it was made with love. The space is very beautiful, relaxing and comfoting. The staff were nice and polite. Wonderful experience overall.

I sat waiting 10 mins for a simple black and I was the only one here. The customer service was terrible. If your in a rush to get anywhere I don’t recommend

Excellent lattes. We didn’t stay but it looked like a great atmosphere and the town square is a lovely place to sit

My family just moved to Monticello and was excited to try the coffee shop out. This morning was our first visit. My fiancé is who went in and ordered and said the staff and service was great but unfortunately the food had some disappointing qualities I felt should be reviewed. Our iced coffees were nice and not too sweet. The sausage egg and cheese croissants were tasty but the hash browns were so bland we did not eat them, literally had no salt on them (even my 10 year-old came up to us and said he didn’t want to eat the hash browns). I was really excited for the cinnamon rolls but the first bite was so stiff and cold. We thought maybe if we warmed them in the oven that would help, but it was still stiff as if they weren’t fresh. We arrived at 10am so I thought the pastries should still be quite fresh.I am not someone to write negative reviews but I did have to give my honest opinion on todays food quality.
