Skyboxx Restaurant & Sports Bar

Not satisfied with the customer service. We were told we could sit anywhere, but were then told we had to move if we weren’t going to order anything soon. We had just gotten a new drink from the bar a few minutes prior, so we were going to work on that one first. The drinks were skimp for the price too. When my cousin inquired why it was so high, the bartender got an attitude showing us the itemized bill. She cited tax and gratuity as the reasoning. Not a fan, and won’t be back.

Server was extremely rude, my group was seated at a section. We waited for a server no one came so we went to the bar to get our drinks then a server eventually approached us and told us we couldn’t sit at the table where we were seated because we didn’t order drinks with her. My group went to watch a game, and spent good money for our drinks to then be rudely moved out of our seats we had to stand the rest of the evening and people who came after us were seated. I will never go back for this experience.

Came with my daughter and friends. Ant was very informative. I’m talking to him not even knowing he was the owner. He was a very sweet guy. Food was good drinks strong like dang can I get a chaser strong music up to date. Going back at least once a month.

I had an amazing experience with Janae and nuni ! From start to finish, the service was professional, friendly, and exceeded my expectations. They were attentive to every detail, communicated clearly throughout the process, and genuinely cared about making sure I was satisfied. It’s rare to find such a great combination of professionalism and personal attention. I highly recommend Janae and Nuni to anyone looking for exceptional service. I will definitely be returning and referring friends and family!

If you’re a female the bartenders will overlook you!!! I sat at the bar for 20 minutes before being acknowledged by any 1 of the 3 bartenders on duty, but the males that came in AFTER me got service right away🤔 finally flagged down someone and ordered a drink, watched the game NBA Finals game 1 (GO KNICKS) ordered the sampler for munchies and she never put in my order 🤦🏾‍♀️ once she realized it after I asked where’s my food she ordered it STAT! And it came out piping hot👍🏾 the DJ was GREAT but the service is HORRIBLE ESPECIALLY THAT THERE IS GRATUITY already added to your check “NO BUENO!” Needless to say I will not be returning if I was a secret shopper this place would be getting FAILING MARKS 👎🏽. They’re lucky I didn’t walk out on my bill when there was NO ONE BEHIND THE BAR at one point for at least 6-7 minutes.
This review comes from a person who has been in this field for over 30 years and this is just SAD SERVICE ‼️

I sat at the bar for almost 45 minutes before being acknowledged by a bartender.
The place wasn’t packed & the “guys” on each side of me were served & checked on several times & I still hadn’t been served.

Food was great, atmosphere was dope, girls upfront entertaining the hood dudes with iced out chains and priority service. Don't walk in with a white tee and 2009 airmax you'll be waiting for your food until perhaps closing

I always have a very negative experience at Skyboxx. It’s sad. You want to support local businesses or black owned and the service is pure trash. They’re slow and inconsiderate of other people’s time. Their waitresses are insecure and I will NEVER return!

I went to Skyboxx Restaurant & Sports Bar and the experience was terrible from start to finish. The customer service was horrible — staff seemed inattentive and unprofessional, and nobody checked on the table or cared about the issues with the food.

The lamb chops came out burnt, dry, and covered in glaze without even asking if I wanted it. They also never asked how I wanted the lamb cooked, which is basic service for a restaurant serving lamb chops. The wings were cold, and the macaroni was stale, dry, and tasted old like it had been sitting out all day.

The atmosphere may look nice, but the food quality and service were extremely disappointing. Definitely not worth the money, and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for good food or decent customer service.

Gotta put one star so I can put anything here. I will NEVER come back to this joint! The DJ does not take any request. I think this is funny when I’m in there with at least an $400 tab and it’s my friend’s birthday. Overcharged than what is advertised on the menu. Then if you have a couple dollars for change the waitresses feel obligated to keep your change?!?! I wouldn’t have an issue but finding somebody to take your order is comical! Food went straight to the trash!!! Chicken tenders felt like rocks!! Then if you go outside (only area that had seating for the 6 people I was with) I suggest looking for anybody blowing trees as the whole outside area will smell of it!! They as in the police will randomly pick you to leave if they smell anything on you. Just weird and unattended to vibes. Came here to pregame before Babas…ended up having a way better experience at All In around the corner!!

Asi , my girl she Kept the energy the whole entire time she made me want to spend my money every night at this location! The dj states the owner wouldn’t let him play the request but Asi made sure we was entertained and well kept and she’s the reading im coming back ONLY
