Stopped there on the way through for lunch. It was Sunday and there was only the buffet. It was Wonderful! Good Southern comfort food. Definitely recommend this place for a meal. It's worth the stop, or the drive.

Great Hamburger steak and fired onions, excellant fried shrimp, good salad bar too , try the batter dipped fries or onions rings they are made there and great- friendly staff-- often busy on Friday and Saturday night--- my son get the Philly cheese every time we go its huge and sloppy with cheese-- inexpensive for the food you get

Good little buffet located in a small little country town. Went on a Friday when they served shrimp & fish. It was good and the cole slaw was great. Wish they served dessert especially for the price you pay. I think the price is somewhat too high but the food was good. Around $20.00 including drink.

I just recently moved back to Brantley Co after 15 years of being away and as always The Gold House did not disappoint.. I had a cheeseburger with battered fries and my daughter had Chicken tenders and battered fries.. The cheeseburger was great and the fries were delicious.. When my daughter got her Chicken tenders she was like "Now that is real chicken" she loved it.. The service was awesome..
Parking: You just park in front or on side of building. I have never had a problem with finding somewhere to park.
Kid-friendliness: Great family atmosphere. Hamburgers and chicken so even picky kids will be covered.

Stopped in this little job for lunch while we were staying in a little cabin on the Satilla river. We totally love this place, they had a buffet with so many options. Everything was good, and the price was not too shabby. They do however need a sign out front for their restaurant.

Food is very good when you get it. But it takes extremely way to long to get your food especially if you order off the menu and not do the buffet. Should have been told, at breakfast, your food will be about 30 minutes to prepare. This has happened a few times and like I said when you get your food it is very good. So whether breakfast, lunch or dinner if you are in no hurry then come here. Bring a jacket as it is cold inside.
