A simple phone call before a trip out into the public makes life alot easier, AFTER deciding to change Store & Company i was able to get what I needed at this location. Special shout out to "FRIDAY" she admited she was NEW but on the phone call beforehand she did what she could to help me and I NOT ONLY found cheaper prices, but a much cleaner enviorment. To many people this may seem like a rant. This is just being cautious as I have medical respiratory issues and I dont go out because people are not wearing mask even those vaccinated, I wear a mask and Im vaccinated, but I understand MICROBE's and microbiology - in any case the only thing I could even suggest in reflection is that maybe the staff should be wearing a mask, they have no idea what they are getting exposed to because so many people are lying about the vaccinations... for the safety of your staff - ALL PERSON'S ENTERING THE STORES SHOULD BE AND WEARING MASK - AND IT SHOULD BE REQUIRED, NOT AN OPTION **** THANK YOU ***** FRIDAY AND SPEEDWAY

We love Speedy Cafe located inside Speedway stores. We just wish there were more of them in Georgia. They have wonderful pizzas and subs and 79 cent fountain drinks. We stop in for food even more often than we do for gas. They have an excellent loyalty app. for your smartphone that you download and set up and the employees scan it so you can get bonus points for your purchases. The app.has clubs where you can earn points and free drinks and 10 cents off per gallon of gasoline. The employees are mostly friendly and courteous and the store is clean inside and out. The parking lot is well lit and safe, which is important in trying times such as these.

I like coming here for the pizza. It's always fresh and ready to go. The gas prices usually match the racetrac across the street. The employees here are all real nice and I think they are all women. The coffee is pretty good but not the best. They also have pretty good sales on their fountain drinks in the summer.

Speedway is better than QT and Racetrac.

At least I can count on them because they are always open and ready for business. There's a race track next door that is always closed with a sign on the door and to me it's bad for business

Everything is excellent so far. Definitely get their rewards card. It's free, and it works.

In the land of QuikTrip and RaceTrac, it's rare to see a gas station like Speedway. I had to do a double-take when I passed by it on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. This Speedway opened in 2017 and was built after the fairly new RaceTrac next door so it's got some direct and immediate competition. As a fan of the current generation QT (Gen 3) and RaceTrac (RT6K) stores, I had to check this place out. This Speedway is comparable to the newer QT and RaceTrac stores around town. It's big, bright, and clean. The gas prices are competitive, the convenience store is staffed with multiple uniformed employees (they don't greet you like QT staff though) and it's filled with a bevy of both fresh, made-to-order and packaged food and drink. Similar to QT Kitchens, Speedway has an open kitchen inside serving up hot items like burgers, hot dogs, and pizza. There are all sorts of fountain drinks, slushes, coffees, and even a walk-in "Beer Cave." One thing that's cool is the f'real milkshakes, smoothies, and frozen coffee machine. The touchscreen-enabled machine will fill up a cup for you. The cafe inside is known as Speedy Cafe and, unlike QT, there's seating if you'd like to take a break. Outside, the filling station has 20 pumps and they're all in good condition. Unlike QT and RaceTrac, each pump plays videos (Speedway ads). When I visited, the pump said NFC payments (near-field communication, e.g. Android Pay and Apple Pay) was coming soon. I look forward to that. Unlike QT, you have to pay to use the air pump for your tires at Speedway (at QT, it's free). In general, I think the gas prices at this Speedway are the same as or very close to the prices at the RaceTrac next door. However, during my visit, Speedway's prices happened to be several cents higher than RaceTrac's and presumably that's why RaceTrac was busy and Speedway was dead. At the time of writing this review, there are only four Speedways in metro Atlanta. They're all in the burbs: Alpharetta, Cumming, Lawrenceville, and Norcross (this one). Ultimately, I prefer QT and RaceTrac, but this is still a decent/nice gas station and convenience store. I give them 3.5 stars rounded up to 4.
