Iconic to Atlanta this place always gives me what I want! My food is always HOT and FRESH! I love the chili cheeseburger and chili dog and ya gotta get the chopped onions for extra flavor. Now, the prices have soard over the years so it's not a cheap date, but it's still good if you need a fast food fix once.or twice a year.
The Varsity is an experience but not a dining experience. This particular Varsity was very clean. The service was good, friendly and quite expedient. The decor is somewhat memorable. However, the food is below par and less enjoyable than most major burger chains. It is a OK place for a quick bite or lunch on the go but no good enough to frequent even for a fast food establishment with on exception. The FRIES! The fries appear to be from fresh cut potatoes with the skin. The fries...
My friend wanted me to try this burger joint and the trip was okay. I was treated to a burger combo with onions rings which were pleasantly crunchy. The beef was tasty, but the bread wasn’t anything to brag about as you can see. There’s plenty of seating there and parking space so no fuss.
Also, while there, a just fired employee alerted the customers of unsanitary food handling that has been going on in the back. This may be a place to try and move on. 😒
