I wanted some Soul Food and sure did get exactly just that.The Food is amazing. Fresh, tasty and great portion. My favorites are the chicken meal and turkey wings. The macNcheese is so so so Good.Plus we top it with there elite lemonade. Straight up, this place is a hidden Gem???? spot for great and fulfilling food . I will RETURN and thats FACTS!!?. This is officially now my new spot.

Well its kinda a hole in the wall, its beside a texaco, looks plain but man is the food good, i ordered the ribs and it was great, they leave bbq sauce so you can dip the amount you want on your ribs,, mac and cheese, green beans and corn bread was great. You should definitely try it out.

My daughter & I saw this restaurant while at the gas station next door & decided to give them a try. Especially after the lady coming out bragged about how good the food was. We weren't disappointed. The food & customer service was great! AND it's black owned! Will definitely be going back!

I took my contractor crew in for lunch today. Didn't really know what to think, it's connected to a Texaco, we walk in and the gentlemen that owned the restaurant are super friendly! We order our food, we sit down, they brought us our food and OMG the best soul food/ country food I've had in years and years. I originally thought it was over priced, but absolutely not!! The ribs literally fell off the bone. The collard greens- they're so damn good that I ordered two large containers to go for me to have some when I get home. If you're wanting good soul food, this is your spot! 10 out of 10 do recommend!

Oh my. OH MY MY MY MY MY!!! Sometimes the best things come in non assuming packages! Such is the case with Kings Soul Food! From the outside you might not even know it’s there, but DAYUM everything I got inside was ON POINT!!Ribs falling off the bone so tender, Cabbage lightly seasoned and not just in a ton of butter, Lima beans that made me remember not just my childhood but that of a whole southern church, and the Mac and cheese was baked to perfection and boldly peppered! The key lime cake is no slouch either! Everything EVERYTHING was top notch and my soul is better for it!
Food was straight SWANGING!! loved the spicy ness to the cabbage, ribs were tenderized and yummy!!! so was the rice, and collards, and the key lime cake was “the bow on top of the box”. The southside has a diamond in the ruff with Kings Soul Food.

5 stars all around!!! I just left like 10 minutes ago. I felt like family as we chatted while i waited for my food. I just took a bit out of everything and everything is delicious. And the cornbread reminds me of my Grannies!
