It was great!!! We went for my mom's birthday since we're from Texas and wanted an experience we wouldn't get there and that's what we got. The food was amazing and the portions were big and worth the money. Also, our server Glory was amazing! She knew so much about the drink and food menu and was accommodating. She was also really personable and it was nice chatting with her. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanted a good ambiance as well as food.

It was a birthday celebration, and the entire experience was wonderful. Our waitress, Amanda was amazing and so was the rest of the staff. We had one hiccup with an appetizer, and it was addressed immediately. Had plans to go to Gumbeaux's today. However, the food was so good, I'm returning today for brunch.

We had a wonderful evening celebrating my birthday! Makhai is a great server, very knowledgeable about the menu. Food was delivered fast and hot. Everything was delicious and we definitely will be back!

This restaurant is true Gastronomie/hospitality. The service is professional, knowledgeable and approachable. The food is excellent and the barkeeper are true barkeepers. We will be back for sure

Fantastic experience at Vanzant's for a solo Friday night dinner! I enjoyed the Spicy Salmon Crisp with the Lobster and Shrimp Mac-n-cheese! Service was top tier. I received my food quick, hot and fresh. I will definitely visit again. I am looking forward to trying their Sunday Brunch.

Just got home from having dinner here. This place is amazing ! We had the pleasure of “Fish” our server , who was friendly , attentive , polite and professional. It was one of the best dining experiences my wife and I have had in a long time . Prices are a little on the higher end but well worth it to us . Thank you Vanzant's for bringing an Atlanta dining experience close to home . Well done !

First visit for our anniversary. Greeted with a sweet thank you card signed by the staff and complementary champagne toast. Staff was warm and welcoming. Our server was excellent. Recommendations were spot on. We tried the winter sea scallops which were superb. The scallop appetizer was enough for a light meal. Cooked perfectly, served over grits and topped with caviar. The she crab soup was delicious as well. It was creamy but had a kick. My husband ordered the stuffed tiger shrimp and I had the sea bass. Both were delicious. Ordered creamy Mac and cheese and broccolini sides. Broccolini could've used another minute or two of cooking. It was super crispy and just okay in terms of seasoning. Mac and cheese was delicious and the portion was hearty. I finished with crème brûlée and decaffeinated coffee. They were excellent. The coffee was rich and strong like I prefer. My husband ordered carrot cake to go, it was moist and light compared to most carrot cakes, but the flavor was different than I expected. He liked it, I would not order it again. Overall it was a great experience.

We like the new decor at Vanzant's compared to Due South. The food was excellent and the portions overwhelming. However, we found the prices to be much higher than restaurants in the area serving similar dishes. Would think twice about going back until their prices fall more in line with other restaurants.

Was a very enjoyable experience. Food was amazing and so were the cocktails!!! We opted out of dessert, but everything looked delicious! Will definitely be back!

Vanzant's is a great place for lunch or dinner. We had a business lunch there and everything was superb! Delicious food, excellent service. Elegant atmosphere and quiet enough to talk to each other. Highly recommend this place especially for business lunches.

The service really stood out and was easily the highlight of the experience. The food was great overall—my filet wasn't cooked exactly how I usually order it, but I don't fault them for that since steak isn't really meant to be medium-well anyway. The wine selection was fine. We went with a bottle on the cheaper side (using “cheaper” lightly because nothing here is cheap), and while it tasted great, I'd love to see a few more lower-priced options. The Brussels sprouts were a perfect addition to the steak, and the crab macaroni was rich and indulgent, something that would pair well with just about any main dish. If you're a chimichurri fan, this probably isn't the place to get it; it didn't have that classic chimichurri flavor and felt a bit underwhelming. On the other hand, the cowboy butter was excellent and definitely worth ordering. We will absolutely dine here again!
