Mr. Fuji Steakhouse and Sushi

My wife and I have dined at this restaurant and had a good experience at their hibachi table. However, on our most recent visit, we were seated in a booth, and unfortunately, the food was terrible. Everything was completely overcooked. They serve the food on sizzling plates that must be around 500°F. The teriyaki sauce was popping from the plate and all over us and the table. By the time we could finally put a fork into the meal, it was so overdone that I couldn't even cut the steak with a knife. My wife's shrimp was also overcooked.

Additionally, the seat back on my side was loose, causing the people at the table behind us to bump into me repeatedly, which was really distracting. Overall, the experience was a mess, and we won't be going back. We ended up taking all the food to go, and although I didn't complain because I knew it would take longer to address the issues, we left about $100 lighter after drinks and a tip. On the way home, we threw the food in the dumpster. So, we'll be avoiding table service here in the future.

Our chef was very sloppy and in serving our food from the grill splashed juice all over, including on our clothing and a purse. Food was ok, not great.

This place spoiled me. Mr. Benjamin is so fantastic. He is excellent at what he does and he takes care of his employees.

I highly suggest the omakase $75 or more. You won't be disappointed. Its a great way to see a display of a large variety of seafood options. Otherwise, definitely try a special roll. These things are HUGE. Ive been to other places and been served tiny rolls for the same price. The stuff served here is massive and delicious.

We love it here. It is always top quality and staff is always so very nice. Food is amazing.

Visited this establishment with family and was highly disappointed. Our cook was friendly however he was not attentive to his audience. He combined foods together and wasn't not cautious to 3 individuals that are allergic to seafood. Then it just felt like his service was rushed. We were charged for sides that were to be replaced, not added on. Portions were too small to charge an individual almost $30 for a plate. Overall the experience was not enjoyable and its probably better off without my coins. Thanks for the one and done.

Look we had a pregnant new mom and for nine month she was craving sushi since it's not recommended while pregnant. Well you better believe we went to Mr. Fuji for the "new baby special" which was salmon and tuna sashimi and spicy rolls, with rainbow rolls. We ordered ahead and then picked up for delivery back to the hospital. It might be the hormone changes too, but they couldn't believe how good the sushi was. Just outstanding quality and freshness in the cuts and it's hard during takeaway but they really met the need. Thanks to the entire team and the servers who were extra friendly to make sure Mom got her sushi as close to perfect as possible.

Highest marks! Just remember in sushi you pay a bit extra for quality and selection and we felt this time it was amazingly awesome. Mom went back for new baby meal #4.
