Rock Salt Milk Bar

The ice cream was fresh with rich flavors. The Brittle & Salt, and Toffee Coffee were full brittle and toffee. Absolutely Amazing!

Such great ice cream! The waffle cones are off the charts.

Bad attitude……. We visited today to get ice cream. Out of all the staff, it was one young white girl with blonde hair(wearing a baseball cap)
that had such as bad attitude. She kept looking at us if she was just ready for us to leave. Not one time did she greet us or even break a smile. She was helping us with the flavors, or anything. She was just staring as if she never seen black people before. She only tried to help when I mentioned to my daughter how she was acting. As soon as the next customers walked to the counter , of course white, she was all smiles. Go check your cameras. They don’t lie. Today time stamp was 6:46 P.M.

The ice cream and service are both amazing…however, be prepared to pay for the location and the above mentioned quality.
$15 for a banana split
$9 for 2 scoops etc
However, in PTC that’s to be expected.

This is the sweet treat I didnt know I needed in my life until today. Rock salt milk bar has a wide variety of home made flavors both familiar and non traditional. Some of the more intriguing options were honey fig, date night (raspberry and dark chocolate) and Carmel brownie swirl. But today's winner was the orange black berry cardamom. The warm home made waffle cone ruined me for all other ice creams shopes. Please open a shop in chicago soon!

Decided to come to Rock Salt Milk Bar to study and thought it would be good to just buy something since I was using the space and wifi. The icecream is good so I thought the quality of all items would be the same. I was wrong. I ordered a hot chocolate ($4) and it was very bad to say the least. I don’t usually post bad reviews on local businesses but my cup was only HALF full. It was probably 5 sips of hot chocolate and I know I didn’t pay $4 for nothing. The staff seemed to be having trouble with the machine, but I don’t see that as an excuse. When the staff member handed me the cup, it felt empty. And then it also tasted bad too. It was poorly mixed and tasted dusty like the powder was old or something. Very disappointing and would not have spent $4 if I had known it would be that bad. A local business that has such a good reputation for the quality of its products should not be selling me a half empty cup of dusty hot chocolate.

nate was amazing, such good hospitality and customer service. he was super nice and patient, let us try so many flavors and gave us his personal favorites. and absolute banger ice cream flavors! miso pumpkin, chai, and cookie monster in my 3 flavor flight. chocolate brownie and caramelized banana in my bf’s cone.
