Georgia Bob's BBQ - Perry, GA

Ordered the rib plate for the last time. Usually get this once a week through take out. They have gotten worse and worse every time. There were 5 ribs, 2 with bones only and the others hard with little meat and no sauce thus not much taste. Ordered garlic bread with it, no bread. At this point you should be paying us to eat this stuff!

So we are traveling through from MD, while in Georgia we wanted to hit up various BBQ places. I have no idea how people are eating here. For starters both of the signs look like they have been through a fire (not looking like the photos that show up when we searched. Upon entering i was confused of they were open because only a light or two was on (very dark ambiance). Both the mens and womens bathroom doesnt look like anyone has been in there for months to clean.
Just the general cleanliness of the restaurant put us off so we left. A Sonny's BBQ was just a 2 minute drive so we took a chance there.

The food is excellent. The bathrooms are clean. The atmosphere is is dated. Fast service but the place could use a deep clean. Did I say the food is good!!

I had my hopes up, love BBQ restaurants but sadly it missed the mark.
Got the pulled pork, potato salad and pickles. Could have had more flavor all around, and easier on the vinegar.
Music was way too loud in the Bathroom.

We ordered pulled pork. It seemed like pre packaged meat. The pickles were good.

Outside needs a refresh.

Drove up after driving 4hrs in heavy rain to grap something before i went to hotel. Ive been coming to Perry for well over 10 years and have eaten here several times, even bought hot sauce to take home. The last 4 times have gotten consistently worse. I wont ever stop here again. Spent $17 on brisket plate with gr beans, slaw. When I pulled in I honestly thought they had closed. Drive thru girl had to ask if they had brisket (on a Sat 4ish) . I asked for hot bbq sauce with it and got 2. Win. Took food to hotel warmed it up. As I was taking off lids of bbq sauce they gave a little pop sound. 40 yrs in F&B I knew immediatly it was bad.. little taste confirmed it. Slaw was warm, gr beans so salty I couldnt eat them, the four bites that was in the tiny styrofoam cup
Trashed all but the meat that was tough and with no sauce. Tried to call 6x and no one ever answered. DONT waste your time or money. Will be calling corporate Monday. So disappointing.

Got the Ribs , they pretty much had zero flavor. Staff was quick and efficient beans were okay.Coleslaw is okay , ribs were very disappointing

First time and food was good. Very reasonable pricing. Ribs come right of the bone. With great bbq sauce options

Sorry to say, I was very disappointed. We got there and it was pretty much empty (only one table) but after we ordered it filled up and a steady flow of take out.

I got the brisket with sweet potato tots. Partly my fault but I forgot to ask if there was a sauce on the brisket (normally not) but there was. It was a vinegar and tomato base sauce which was sweeter so must have had some sugar in it. But the meat was on the tough and dry side. The sweet potato tots were very obviously processed. They were overly sweet with a ‘fake’/chemical aftertaste. I should have gotten the wings. Maybe that would have changed my mind.

My husband got the same and also the Brunswick stew. He felt pretty much the same about his food. Said the Brunswick stew was way too vinegary.

I used the restroom and was surprised by a women in history display! I was surprised by a couple of the choices.

do not waste your money here. the food was pathetic. worse brisket I've ever had. by the looks of the place I thought it would be old school barbecue definitely not.

Idk what the other GA Bob's in this area got going on but PERRY is the BEST!! Food and service 💯💯
All y'all need to do is revamp the outside looks and keep it going!!!!
