Why, why, why did you change the Mac and cheese from something awesome and delicious to something disgusting? (Tears). It was literally my only reason to eat here and now it’s changed. It’s bad. Please bring back the old recipe. And the monkey bread is delicious of course, but cinnamon bread with icing does not make sense as a starter before a meal.

Sadly its not the Callaway Gardens I grew up visiting. The gardens are not gardens anymore. The property use to be landscaped and taken care of to the nines! Immaculate. That's not the case anymore. After shutting down most attractions it seems that they are all about charging money but nothing to offer for such high rates. Horticulture center use to be my favorite. The golf course is over crowded and no staff on a Saturday to accommodate a starter to make sure tee times dont get backed up. Groups of 8, groups of 6 shouldn't be allowed on a busy Saturday morning. The greens are in the worst condition. Surrounding golf courses charging half the price are in tip top shape, Callaway should have no excuse as a resort course.

What a joke Callaway has become! This place used to put families first, but now it has become apparent that the dollar has become your priority. You have to pay for every single extra thing and now you want to charge basically the same price for a pass as theme parks. I don't have to buy a season for Dollywood and then pay to ride a roller coaster and Callaway doesn't offer NEAR the entertainment as a theme park plus you have to pay for every single thing there. What a joke this place has become. We have been loyal customers since the 80s. I grew up spending my summers there and have raised my son to spend his summers there, but now you have priced it so high that the majority of your loyal customers will never be able to go back. I hope you're thinking of drawing the Atlanta crowds will keep you afloat on a random Wednesday so you won't have to lay people off because the average Joe can't afford to come anymore. Your marketing team are geniuses. Well done for thinking of the average family. Exclusivity is not everything and won't keep customers brand loyal.

We arrived around 1pm today… and was told we would be put on the waiting list. We saw 4 empty tables but waited about 25 minutes; it was just two of us; another group arrived and was seated immediately; I asked and was told “oh we will get you a table if not too late?” We left. And will not be back. We are staying at the resort and have had a nice time but was really disappointed in this place… they close at 3pm and think they didnt want to deal with us.

Arrived at 1035 for breakfast. Lots of tables available but was told that they stopped serving breakfast and we’d have to wait until 11:20 if we wanted to be seated for lunch. Sign clearly states that breakfast is served until 11. Won’t be back!

I purchased tickets to a Luau that was canceled. I have yet to be reimbursed or have my tickets modified to a different date. All they do is transfer my call to different people who have NO idea what to do. im frustrated and would not recommend Callaway Gardens to anyone.

I was exceptionally disappointed by the food products for sale. I went in hoping to find locally made preserves, pickles, and hot sauce. Instead, the label said that they were “distributed” by Callaway Gardens. Where they were made was not listed.

I left empty-handed.

Down the road at an antique store in Cataula, I found a small selection of locally produced food products where the owner knew the people who made the food. I did not leave there empty-handed.

My husband and I spent a night there for our upcoming anniversary. Unfortunately, there was bad weather which I know cannot be controlled, but they did not handle it very well. The gardens were shut down and the power went out in the lodge and they didn’t do anything about it. I reached out to customer service and nobody got back to me.

We showed up for breakfast before it ended at 11. With breakfast vouchers from the hotel. This was Mothers Day so you would expect they would be prepared. When we came up in line there was a table full of staff on their phones and we were told well before 11 that they had a big surge of tables and weren’t serving breakfast. It was half empty when we were in there. We were told we couldn’t have breakfast and we would have to wait 45 mins for lunch to start. There was a clear sign that said breakfast ended at 11 and lunch started at 11. Very disappointed. We should have been seated and what we paid for honored but the clear message was they didn’t want to and no one was eager to work. Have been coming here my whole life and was very disappointed with the service and leadership.

We ate breakfast at the Country Store Restaurant. The service and the food was good . We had a great view! I only wish there were Mimosas. 😊 We did stay at hotel. It was my birthday breakfast.

This was the best breakfast ever.

Going through hoops to try to get a refund for the light show that was canceled. Disappointing.

Hours for breakfast end at 11am, 20 minutes before that we are told they are no longer serving breakfast and it would be a while before they could even seat us for lunch, ( only 4 tables had people at them, but they had to finish breakfast before lunch could be seated) spoke with Ron "the manager" he just kinda said to bad I have to get ready for lunch and can't do both, because lunch starts at 11am. You have got to be kidding me. Heck even McDonald's can do that... hey guys how about just change your breakfast hours to end at 10:30?

Giant scam! The customer service agents you speak with lie on the phone lie to customers. The agent I spoke with told me the last trolley ran at 9 pm. When I got to the Gardens, the last trolley in fact ran at 7 pm. Their online site was still selling tickets even though the trolley was closed. The onsite staff were rude and condescending. Two days later, after multiple calls, no one has contacted me back! Do not waste your time nor money here!

Opentable Diner

They no longer accept open table reservations, yet you can still make the reservation. When you show up the response is just sorry we don't accept it. We have tried to get it off the site???? You can then be added to the end of the waitlist. Poor response by management and callaway gardens should do better
