I asked in one of the groups for the best Thai restaurant. A lot of people recommended Papaya. This was our first time and for Father's Day dinner. I made a reservation just in case. The atmosphere was calm, and the restaurant looked better in person than pictures, in my opinion. The food was great. I was too hungry to take any pictures of the food, lol. I got the yellow curry so I could share that with my baby, who, by the way, loved it and kept asking for more. My husband got the red curry extra spicy, and I took a bite of that, which was also delicious. Our waitress was super nice and friendly. Overall, it was a great experience and food. I highly recommend it, and we'll definitely be coming back.
Great service, great food
Great food and drinks. Service can sometimes be slow, but if you're patient, it's worth the wait.
Papaya Thai in Pooler, GA, is the best Thai food in town! The pad Thai noodles were a perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and savory, with a delightful mix of tender chicken, crunchy peanuts, and fresh bean sprouts, all tossed in a vibrant tamarind sauce. The noodles were perfectly cooked, with just the right chewiness. The Thai tea was a refreshing treat—creamy, mildly sweet, and beautifully spiced, served ice-cold with a gorgeous orange hue. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff made the experience even better. Highly recommend this spot for authentic Thai flavors!
My daughter and I were craving some delicious Thai food while in Augusta for a 2 night concert, and Papaya Thai Cuisine and Sushi certainly didn't disappoint. Our waitress/server was excellent, helping us navigate vegetarian options. Our entrees were amazing and the sushi was top tier 👌
Awesome food and service with an amazing atmosphere. Our waitress was very kind, respectful, and resourceful. We will definitely be returning! Highly recommended.

I’ll start this with… I’ve eaten a lot of Thai, it’s probably my favorite. With that being said, this was prob the worst I’ve had. The restaurant is cute, service for my take out wasn’t bad. The pad see ew, was the most bland. I’m not sure if this is Americanized or what, the noodles were overcooked and white, they usually have a brownish tint. The broccoli was just bland and seemed it wasn’t cooked in any of the sauce they may have used. The ginger dressing kind of tastes like pine sol. If you’re use to authentic Thai I’d consider PJ Thai in downtown.

I’m new to Thai food I saw the sign walking in the door advertising the special so when I ordered I could’ve sworn I said the whole red snapper special.
food comes and it’s on the money I crush it. Very happy with the food but that bill came and it’s not at all what I was expecting I didn’t say the edamame part so I got whole red snapper.
if you go and see a special I would just like to point out make sure y’all on the page.

Our food was delicious, our server paid little attention to us. She brought the bill and made no mention of ordering desserts. We were by then disgusted with watching her sip a gut buster drink while talking to a man at the bar. We paid and left.
