The crab rangoons were very good. The summer rolls were just lettuce and hardly any other ingredients. The lobster roll was rubbery and lacked any flavor. The shrimp Pad Thai literally made us sick. I knew the moment I put the shrimp in my mouth that it was bad. Very disappointed because we heard other people talk about how good the food was. Our server was nice, but only took away the finished plates because we asked after she walked by multiple times with the empty hands. I cannot recommend this place due to both of us being sick the next day.

She created a meal for me, knowing that I'm vegan. I really appreciate that. I'm driving thru from Miami, and it's difficult to find vegan options on the highway, until I get to Florence, where there's a dedicated vegan establishment right off of the highway! If I'm ever in this area again, I will be SURE to dine here. Thank you, young lady! 🤗
I have tried the other two Thai restaurants in Pooler but I always come back to Papaya.
Consistently excellent.

Do not come here is my best advice for anyone considering it. I saw this place on Google and decided to try it for the sushi which I will admit was good but the service and atmosphere were terrible. Waiter did not seem like she wanted to be there and was not friendly. She would walk away from the table before we finished ordering causing frustration. All the glasses on the tables had lipstick stains on them and were not clean. The waitress was not trying to make any effort to ensure the food was good or the experience was good and instead was too busy behind the counter using her vape.

This establishment is undoubtedly our preferred Thai restaurant in Pooler, and I consistently find the food enjoyable. We always order our favorite dishes, and they consistently meet our expectations. However, a recent interaction with a bartender while placing a takeout order somewhat detracted from my overall experience. We had initially planned to dine in, but as they were approaching their meal break closure, we decided to opt for a takeout order instead.
Upon entering, I was not greeted, nor was I offered a menu. The bartender seemed to assume I was there to pick up an order, so I had to request a menu. Her demeanor was somewhat off-putting, which was a bit disappointing, but I chose to overlook it. After I placed my order, another patron entered to collect her takeout order. The bartender then proceeded to lecture her about the drink she had ordered, which I found to be quite unnecessary. It seemed she could have simply provided the requested item without the additional commentary, rather than lecturing the customer as if it were her first time ordering in a restaurant. I felt a degree of sympathy for the other patron who had to endure that kind of service. I sincerely hope that the bartender was simply experiencing a difficult day, as this is not the level of customer service I would anticipate from a restaurant with such excellent food and ambiance.

Was at work and really wanted some spring rolls to tide me over. Papaya Rincon is right next door to my employment so I called them. I went to pick up my order and found out that, by mistake, I called Papaya in Pooler to place my order. The Rincon location called Pooler to advise them and the young lady (I’m being nice) from Pooler made some comments that I won’t repeat but I could hear. I understand that they cooked 1 order of Spring Rolls but it really wasn’t the end of the world. The Rincon location was extremely nice and rushed my order so that I could get back to work. Thank you Papaya Rincon for great service. Shame on you Papaya Pooler for being so ugly.

Witness was the WORST. Stayed on her phone the entire time, poor attitude and after I gave ZERO tip, I was later charged extra tip for her poor service. I will dispute the charge and will never return. Also tried call to speak tk manager and can never get through.

Today we had an amazing waitress. We ordered the tasting appetizer, Thai curry soup with shrimp and my son ordered a sushi dinner with a California roll, spicy tuna, and salmon roll. Everything was amazing except for the spring roll. It tasted old and maybe had frostbite. It was horrible. But everything else was amazing. My husband and I used to come here and loved everything including the spring roll. What happened to your spring rolls?

First time trying this place ...table was available we were seated and server got our drinks, it took us a min to order as we've never been here my grands had to ask for a kid menu and crayon also straws ... server brought out our California roll which was good however food was mediocre tasted thawed out but my biggest complaint was the server knew we were ready for check and sat at bar talking with coworker and I had to get up to access the check after waiting almost 10 mins ....we wont be back however it was a teachable moment

The food is flavorful and aromatic. The only problem is the portion size. They tend to be skimpy on the protein. The last time we went the portion size of the whole entree was significantly reduced. Nevertheless, we enjoy the appetizers and the fried rice that we order with every entree.
