After driving for several hours from Alabama to our home in the lowcountry of South Carolina, we decided to stop around 7pm. Everyone in the car wanted hot food and a chance to use the bathroom. As we were exiting our car, an employee who was standing outside the front door informed us quite rudely the dining room was closed because they were short staffed.
