“Some of the best sushi in the state of Georgia! It was a pleasant surprise for us to find this authentic Japanese place in the middle of Savannah's downtown. We tried a few items and all them were so-so tasty. Miso soup, Mushroom soup, Edamame, Pepper Tuna tataki, Black Angel roll, Sashimi wrap, Spicy Tuna roll with avocado, cucumber and tobiko, but the most delicious roll out of all was the Amazing Tuna roll. It was so good, after we received our food items and tasted them all, we had to order more of Amazing Tuna roll as we couldn't get enough. Service by Jaycen was outstanding. We were very happy to have found this mouthwatering sushi joint and will definitely be back when we visit Savanah again.“

“My brother and I had lunch on 9/11. We both had the Teriyaki chicken, I had the fried rice and my brother the white rice. At the time of our order, I placed a to go order of egg rolls and a side of fried rice. I did not check my to go order and after arriving home I realized no fried rice. : They are located in a plaza with other businesses so there is decent amount of parking.

Food: I would say this is somewhat of an "Express" Sushi and Hibachi spot. They have limited dining inside. I opted for the Volcano and Savannah Roll with an Express Shrimp Bowl to go. The rolls came out Quick but did not lack in portion size and flavor.

“Tonight was our first visit, but it definitely won’t be our last. Don’t know why we hadn’t been before now. The food was GREAT! Fast friendly service. Y’all have to go!“

“The owner and his wife have kept this restaurant going for several years. The ingredients/recipes are nearly exact to Hiranos, which is where Don (owner) started his journey in the restaurant business.

His menu is much more extensive, and the food is excellent.

“The food was delicious, but the waiter's attitude was terrible. I heard from a friend that they forced us to tip, but I didn't believe it at first. Today, after experiencing it myself, I realized that my friend was right. The service attitude was terrible. They didn't respond when I called them, and they were noisy and rude. As a result, when I went to the front desk to pay, the waiter followed me, asked me to swipe the card, pointed to the tip column and the name column and asked me to sign the tip and my name. The most speechless thing for me was that the lady at the front desk didn't stop them. My God, this is simply a rogue.“

“The food here is ok. I haven't tried any raw sushi though. The California roll is good. I don't care for the shrimp tempura. The hibachi entrees are also good. There are places to sit in and eat but, the area isn't really that big.
My only complaint is that when ordering online, there are times that the order never came up. Once I get there I have to show them the order, they write it down, and then they prepare it. That's frustrating being that I place it online so I don't have to wait.“

“I happened to be walking by this place and thought, what the hay, why not. I'm glad I did. Reasonably priced ramen and sushi, I'm game. Staff was good, food was excellent and I was in and out in 5 minutes. I think they have fried cheesecake too, what more could you want?“

“I'm not a very good judge of sushi. That's my son's milieu. But the Tomago Don and other rice dishes that I get are the best I've encountered. This restaurant is in a small strip mall at the end of Waters Street on the Southeast side of Savannah. Its sort of hard to spot but the access is easy and there is always adequate parking close to the restaurant's door. The proprietor and staff are always friendly and attentive and all of the food prepared is excellent in appropriately priced. The place is clean and well maintained and is great for lunch or dinner.“

“The food is great. 50/50 chance on getting a fun cook. Sometimes the cook is crazy fun and engaged, sometimes you can tell he's had a long day, is not in the mood for people, and is ready to go home. I'll still keep going back though. Like I said, the food is great!“
