My second visit and it was even better than the first. Outstanding service! Everyone had smiles and were super friendly and helpful! It was a warm and welcoming vibe. I loved my food again. I had the Turkey wing plate with mac&cheese and collard greens. Everything was delicious! I definitely recommend the soul food egg rolls and the corn bread! Out of this world!

I’ve been faithful to another soul food restaurant in the area for a few years now, but now that I took a chance and tried this place….WOW!!! Delicious!!! Also, a little cheaper than what I was used to with good portions! The meatloaf, green beans, cornbread deep fried pound cake was very tasty!! The yams were ok. This will be my new spot definitely!

This has got to be the worst place I’ve eaten. Ordered takeout and the wait was long but the food wasn’t hot, and it had no flavor. I don’t know if that was the case because it was getting late but I was highly disappointed I could have taken my $40 elsewhere.We ordered the turkey wings and Mac and yams. The turkey wings were cold and the gravy on them was thick like they have been sitting. The yams were also cold and they didn’t have any flavor no sugar no brown sugar no nothing. Mac and cheese was like potato salad, need I say more. The only good thing on the plate was the cornbread it was buttery and hot, I think that’s what we was waiting on for so long cause it wasn’t the food.

Absolutely delicious. Real home made soul food with details like just a touch of acidity in the macaroni and cheese to balance the richness and highlight all the flavors.

This place was ok. It has plenty of potential but I suggest they pick a friendly staff member to run the front counter. I'm not sure what her name was but she was dry, rude, & could careless about serving the customers. We ordered water with our food & told her we were dining in (for nothing). ? However, Tristian was so awesome! He was the sweetest! He brought us our food from the kitchen. He was super sweet. He apologized b/c he didn't know we were dining in cuz he brought us our food in Togo plates. He continued to check on us so I asked him if we could please get our water we asked for because we were almost done with our food. Then the girl who took our order told us they don't have water but she can give us a drink. The food was ok. My meatloaf was cold but My sides were hot. I do like the big portions of food they give & the dessert! I hope Tristian gets a promotion He deserves it. ??

Ok, I'll be honest, the price ($18.18) was bothering me, considering that I've never eaten there before, and every southern restaurant failed my taste test.
But EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!!!
I'm definitely going back at least one more time. I just wish the dinner came with a drink and, of course, more dinner options.

This right here IS heaven! I took a little stroll this evening and decided to pass my normal spot for this spot in town. Well I’m so glad I did!!! The food is straight southern, it’s good and feels like home, like my mother made it. Mmmhm I’m so glad this is right up the street. Definitely will be back!!

Edit: Actually the corn bread is the best I’ve ever had. Definitely will be back.

Ordered from Uber Eats tonight. We had turkey wing, meatloaf, shrimp and cheesecake cups. The delivery driver left my cheesecake cups at the restaurant so an employee named Bre came and delivered them to me herself. Excellent customer service. And the food was hot and delicious. Definitely will be eating here again!
